We stopped by the Leffingwell House Musuem for the "Annual Return of Benedict Arnold" event and it was so much fun! The "leg of Benedict Arnold" was even gifted to the mayor. The other half of the event was tours throughout the house which showcased the unique history and storied past of the well-preserved house. The museum staff was very friendly and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. The museum is a great window into the past with a number of neat antiques! Definitely recommend checking it out to learn more of the history of the area! Before you go, be sure to pick up some of the amazing sweet and spicy chocolate in the "gift shop!" Definitely check it out!

Stopped in by chance while we were in town and we were impressed by this little museum. This was a tavern that was visited by many in the 1700s including George Washington who would attend in order to arrange for supplies. It's been moved from it's original location from up the hill. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us through all the rooms. For $8 each it was a really nice little tour.

Good fun experience learning about history. The guides were absolutely fabulous and made it fun and interesting. If your looking to tour with Covid call ahead and see if you can schedule a tour for the weekend. The house was fun to explore and what they had in the he was fun to look at. Just hearing about the history and the people alone was inspiring.

Outstanding opening with live artillery (Brown's Company) and flint-lock firings. This was all I addition to some great docent work within the museum itself!! Please do not miss this gem of history moments from Route 395!

Unbelievable collection of historical items. Best I've ever seen in a historical home/tavern. Three floors with displays. Knowledgeable and engaged docents. In lovely Norwich CT.

Fantastic! Got to meet with the "Paranormal caught on camera" parapsychologist... am I saying this correctly? Brian Cano today, giving tours. Thank you. Also got a tarot reading.
