Gold Rush Jewelers - Novato — Attraction in Novato

So my sweet mother in-law gifted me these cute earrings with my sons birthstone when I Gabe birth. A few days later my ears were all itchy so I took them to a jewelry store and they told me they weren’t real gold. I decided not to mention a word of it to her but almost a year later when we were strolling down on old town Novato I mentioned it to her and she said:” they are gold. I paid for gold.” I felt weird because at first look they really did look like gold but we were not able to find any numbers on them. Still haven’t taken them back to the store. Not sure what to do?! My ears are allergic...

This store is absolute garbage, they did a repair they are simply not qualified to do. They ruined my expensive watch and when I bring it back they say the policy of zero liability is written on the receipt (after the fact). The owner is a rude nasty individual. I'm sure this happens a bunch. He seems more than versed in dealing with unhappy customers. I had to add this after looking at the response from the owner. The watch I had repaired was a waterproof watch. Why would you need to ask for water proofing if that's the way the watch was intended. Anyway, more lies and incompetence....

Gold Rush is definitely a notch above all other jewelry stores I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is impressive as they always seems do whatever they can to make sure I was satisfied with my request. The last time I used them, the owner, Rick, helped me. My wife and I wanted some work done on her wedding ring for our 15th anniversary. Rick added a diamond band and lowered the setting at a very reasonable price and the work was done quickly.
