Dog friendly!! 1st time here. Took the bus. Walked nearly 1.5 miles to beach from bus. Unfortunately I ended up on a private beach. Owner was really nice about it though. She didn't say anything until I left so I was able to enjoy the hour I was there. Pretty beach and very friendly neighborhood.

The park is kept clean and there are always lots of people around. The rope play equipment is the same as at the honolulu zoo, but has not aged well. The maintenance has removed a lot of broken pieces, but not replaced anything.

From a tourist perspective this is a great locals beach park. The views are amazing, the sunsets out of this world. I wish I had gotten to do more than just come check out the sunset.

This is the first beach that we stepped foot on upon our arrival in O’ahu. The atmosphere was perfect. There were locals hanging out, listening to music and enjoying the park. A couple dozen kids were there being taught some sort of boating. It was fun to watch! We sat and ate our lunch and listened to the beautiful sound of the ocean breaking against the shore. The sand was beautiful and unique, the water beautiful and blue. Also, I was entertained for a while watching some adorable little sand crabs digging their holes. Although I didn’t swim, I definitely enjoyed the view and the vibe...

The park is pretty big, with plenty of room to play, have a picnic, or even have a children's party (This is the voice of experience, speaking). The view of Maunalua Bay is quite nice, and it's convenient from Hawaii Kai and Kalanianaole Hwy. On the other hand, parking is fairly limited, and the beach is more muddy than Sandy. It's safe for kids to go wading, because there...

This place is awesome!! If you have a dog, they have Fast Cats here like once a month. The dogs truly love it!! Plus, the view is a huge bonus. ( fast Cats stand for Course Agility Training) This place is also great for just taking a walk or chilling under a tree for some peace of mind. I hope you enjoy this place...
