ʻEwa Beach Community Park — Attraction in Oʻahu

This is the first beach that we stepped foot on upon our arrival in O’ahu. The atmosphere was perfect. There were locals hanging out, listening to music and enjoying the park. A couple dozen kids were there being taught some sort of boating. It was fun to watch! We sat and ate our lunch and listened to the beautiful sound of the ocean breaking against the shore. The sand was beautiful and unique, the water beautiful and blue. Also, I was entertained for a while watching some adorable little sand crabs digging their holes. The park is pretty big, with plenty of room to play, have a picnic, or even have a children's party (This is the voice of experience, speaking). The view of Maunalua Bay is quite nice, and it's convenient from Hawaii Kai and Kalanianaole Hwy. On the other hand, parking is fairly limited, and the beach is more muddy than Sandy. This place is awesome!! If you have a dog, they have Fast Cats here like once a month. The dogs truly love it!! Plus, the view is a huge bonus.
