Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hawaii

I have had, in my life, some truly great pizza. In general, great pizza is not to be found on Oahu. But this particular Pizza Hut serves some of the best pizza I've had on the island. I've been to Boston Pizza (horrid), Dominos (very horrid -- and I so used to like their pizza!), and to Brick Oven in Kapolei (a favorite, but very different experience).

Our favorite is the Veggie Lover's Pizza, either hand tossed or thin-and-crispy or else Italian sausage with green peppers and onions. Both combinations are non-greasy and very tasty. If you really like your thin and crispy to be extra crispy, ask for the pizza to be "well done"! The staff will put it back through the oven again. The salads (garden or Caesar) are large enough for two or three. The wings (a favorite, but infrequently ordered) are quite good, but a young person's food (heartburn anyone?).

My wife and I have eaten in the restaurant, but in general, this is not recommended. It simply is not a nice place to eat. Clean, but not relaxing environment. We either take the pizza home or ask for delivery. Delivery works well, and the pizza is always delivered sooner than predicted by the telephone staff. I WAS a regular at this Pizza Hut. But they have gotten very slack in their customer service and their quality of food. A short while, after their renovation, I wanted to go back and re visit Pizza Hut in Ewa Beach again. I ordered some of the boneless 8 piece honey BBQ wings, and was I very disappointed. The wings were not covered in the BBQ sauce like it usually was, there were even a couple of the wings that did not have any BBQ sauce on them. Now, they were also very hard to bite into, like they had either been overcooked or were left overs. Did not taste good either. Ended up throwing 6 wings away. But I went back several time, because I liked Pizza Hut and their food (now excluding the wings). But last night took the cake, no greeting whatsoever but once my order was taken and they had my money, they were greeting their customers. I guess I mean nothing to them, being loyal to Pizza Hut in Ewa Beach. Plus, the pizza I order, to put it plainly, "SUCKED", there was hardly any sauce, the crust was hard, the pineapple was hard (like it was old), the cheese was kind of funky tasting, overall, I threw away most of the pizza, I would not even give this pizza to a homeless person, that is how bad it was. I think I will be going to there competition now, thank you Pizza Hut Ewa Beach for showing me just what you think of your loyal customers. NEVER...

worst customer service ever. the last few times I have went in the workers have not been friendly at all. I had ordered over the phone and went in to pick it up. I ordered an extra buffalo sauce and ranch sauce for my husband, but he told me before I went in to pick it up that he didn't need the sauce after all. So at the counter I let the lady know I needed to cancel the sauces and I apologized, and she told me "um we can't cancel anything once you already place the order" I had to chuckle because she was very rude as she said and it and also it's not like I was cancelling my made to order pizza, just two sauces that are prepackaged and can go right back on the shelf. I then told her again I didn't need the sauces anymore so I needed to cancel them. She then said, "well I can just not give them to you then" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You want to charge me for them AND keep them? Um no. I was dumbfounded. They didn't even try to make it right or apologize for the rudeness. She wouldn't make eye contact with me, and she didn't even say anything after handing me my change. Unbelievable.
