Why is there no one at the customer service desk every time I go there? I went in to return something and there was a small line. I waited for 5 mins and the line didn't move. So I went and purchased my other items, paid for them, and went to the customer service desk. The sign was up saying they were closed. There was a woman behind the counter and I stood there. She didn't greet me, or tell me someone was coming, or call anyone. I waited for TEN MINUTES. Someone else got behind me. No one acknowledged us, especially the lady behind the counter. I waited another minute and asked the cashier closest to us and asked her to call someone. She called for help over the intercom and a few minutes later someone came out.
Customer service should never be like what I experienced in that store. Even if the woman behind the counter was busy and unable to help, she should have acknowledged me and explained that someone was coming, or call for help.
I love Foodland, I grew up on it. I always felt that they had more Aloha Spirit and that's why I always go to Foodland as opposed to Safeway even though I live in the middle of both in Ewa.
I hope that this store addresses this issue to come up to par with the other Foodland stores. The other day I chose to not go to this store even though it was convenient based purely on the negative experiences I had in this store...
Read moreSo disappointed in this location . Came in on May8th, 2022 and was at the customer service section. No one came to attend to us. It came to my attention that a guy that was attending to the customers buying groceries the only guy that have access to the customer service section . I can’t help but notice that there were other staff members so I went I ask him nicely if he could attend to us or give me a time . To my surprise he told me that the service desk is closed and in my head I was like he could have assign the check out spot to one of those guys and easily come to the customer section to help us out or just give me a time . I could see that he was young so I am am not surprise at his immaturity and lack of proper management . I also blame foodland for not having enough Human Resources to get that job done . Read moreThe worst Foodland I have ever been to. The store manager Grace is rude, narrow minded, stubborn, sassy, and very argumentive. The store twice charge me duplicate for an item. After bringing in my receipt and debit car print out she refuse to accept the true facts and argued back. She argued with me and never gave me back my money. The food there I received six was found rotten and she argue with me never agreed with me, never got my money back. Two of the deli workers are rude and disrespectful, and speak - gossip in ilocano about me. They argue with me and play games.They manipulate price tags. The seafood fish is stinky, never fresh.
