GameStop — Attraction in Oʻahu

My visit to GameStop today was a great one! Due to the holiday season, the entire mall was packed with people, and GameStop was no exception.

As with any GameStop, the selection of new / used games was vast, and the other options like playing cards or tech accessories were organized and not overly crowded in display.

The only things they seemed to be short of were toy and clothing merchandise. Given the season of shopping, the seemingly short stock of those items is more than understandable.

The store had more than usual employees, which added to a pleasant experience since the lines went as fast as they were long.

Make sure to ask for the taller gentleman named James! In my experience, he has always been the most knowledgeable for anything and everything I had a question about. And today, he went out of his way to be sure that I received the Collector's Edition case for my copy of Sonic Frontiers. Keep...

Went into the store with some friends to check out some Pokemon cards. A lady with glasses was at the counter helping out with a customer and so my friend reached up and grabbed a box. Nowhere does it say that you shouldn't touch these boxes but she turns and snaps at us saying how we should have asked to grab it as apparently those boxes weren't meant to be touched. Again it doesn't say anywhere it shouldn't be. She then mumbles under her breath how we didn't even put it back correctly, and majority of the boxes up there had no order anyways. There was no reason to be that rude of something like grabbing a box of Pokemon cards lol. Don't know who she was but I hope nobody else has to deal with her...

Scammers. At first they seem really helpful. Bought a PS4 from them for about 300$. Turns out it's defective. I turn it over to sony for repair along with 99$. I find out that they scammed me by selling me a super old console that they had me pay nearly double for what it should cost. Btw, I did call the store first before turning it over to Sony about the defect, and they immediately said there was nothing they could do, that it was totally out of their hands. Really disappointing. Go to a different store or order online, these guys don't care about customer...
