I’d like to leave a review to accommodate anyone who is looking for lashes and maybe isn’t from Oahu or isn’t familiar with lashes.
I’ve been getting lash extensions going on four years now.
The saying you get what you pay for certainly is true. Lashes that are quickly applied and are cheaper than other places could be a red flag.
First of all there should only be a single extension glued to one individual real lash. This place glued an extension to multiple real lashes as well as previous applied professional extensions. There all kind of just glued together. This damages your lashes and can lead to permanent loss of your real lashes. As a baby lash and full grown lash are at different growth stages. If a full grown lash sheds and pulls out or puts strain on your baby lash it will damage it. Secondly eye lash extension glue is not made to be applied and come in direct contact with your skin. I had several areas on my lashes where eye lash glue was directly touching my skin after I left. This has resulted in itching the last couple days while I’ve been here on vacation. The multiple lashes glued to one lash and excessive lash glue has been really uncomfortable. I was getting family portraits and was wanting a fill before the pictures were taken. I’d say the damage and after math of the job that was done on my lashes wasn’t worth it.
If you are someone who is not as concerned about preserving your natural lashes, wants to save money, and wants a quick job this would be fine.
I've used skilled lash artist in Alaska who I’ve never seen them do that or had that result. Not to bash on this place at all, only hope to warn any women looking to get lashes or like me is on vacation and need a fill.
I’ve always loved my hybrid extensions just wish I would have...
Read moreI hate to say that I will likely never go back here. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with lashes. First off, the light that was used was worse than staring directly into the sun, even with your eyes shut. I asked if the brightness was able to be turned down and she insisted it was needed or she could not do my lashes. (Never had experienced this before at other salons) Additionally, even though my eyes were shut I was fairly certain that my eyelashes were being ripped out. My eyes were burning from whatever chemical was being used so my eyes were watering the whole time. Luckily I was only in the chair for 45 mins. But it was torturous lol. I wish I was exaggerating. And at the end the tape was ripped off my under eye was pretty painful. And I promise, I am pretty good with pain. The result was not as nice as the pictures on the reviews. My lashes seems tangled and stuck together. And the lashes on my right eye are longer than my left lol. I was scheduled to have Helen but ended up having Tracy. Idk what happened there.
UPDATE: I have updated this salon to a 3 star, from a 1 star. One of the associates reached out to me and apologized for my experience and explained that the technician that did my lashes was new. They offered to I have me come in and get a completely new set but unfortunately I did not have time in my schedule. So they offered me a discount on my next session! I really appreciated them...
Read moreI was in there for my first time a couple days ago, I was not happy with how the lash tech did my lashes.. the owner contacted me and had me come in the same day to have them removed and redone by a different tech.. I left looking and feeling so much better! Management here is great, and customer satisfaction is...
