The sand is here is as fine and soft as sifted flour. The water is clear and you can see straight to the sandy (no rocks) bottom a good ways out from the beach. No snorkeling really, so come for the gentle waves, clear water and chill vibe. It was windy, so I can imagine bringing a hoodie if you won't be in the water a lot.
Don't forget to stop by Kalapawai Cafe & Deli for lunch. Just a short walk from the beach, so you can grab some yummy food and head back to the water. We ate fresh grilled burgers with our toes in the sand!

The walking along the beach felt great because the sand was so soft and comfortable. It was a bit chilly in the morning with a slight breeze but it warmed up as the day went on. The water was so inviting and the swimming was fun. Saw some turtles in the waters as we were swimming. Theres plenty of showers to clean off and the restroom areas were clean.
