Love this beach!! Sand is clean and very soft. Waves were a little strong (it was a windy day). It has lots of palm trees which means there are shades available. I would suggest visiting in earlier hours for good parking spot. :) This beach has an outdoor shower and spacious bathrooms, although the changing area doesn’t have a door lol

Great beach with calm waters suitable for swimming of all ages and a better alternative to the busy waikiki. Lifeguards in duty. Shower and restroom facilities. If the parking lot is full along the street, the north lot always seems to have spots, and you enter by making a right after the kalapawai market.

Kailua Beach is on Oahu's eastern side. It's in fact the same beach as Lanikai, divided only by a small river. Imo, it's one of the most beautiful on the island with amazing sea, palms and sand. Plenty of parking in front (free) makes it much more accessible than Lanikai

Maybe the best beach yet! We were looking for a family friendly beach that had small waves, something with a nice sandy area for sand castles, and some shade - this beach is it! Parking is scarce but worth it!
