Hello! I wanted to give a review after my most recent visit to the Regal Cinemas Windward 10, 46-056 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744 today, April 01, 2018! I have not been to the movie theaters in almost ten (10) years because of the advanced technology in home entertainment. I had relatives visiting Hawaii from California, and they invited me to go with them to watch Marvel Studios' "Black Panther". I decided to get some refreshments shortly after the movie started. The concession line was very fast, which was a nice surprise! A very nice young man named Reece (Opr: 1135) was very friendly and patient when I gave him my order. I was not sure if the "value packs" were still available, and I almost ordered the "kids pack". Reece was kind enough to explain the "kids pack", and I realized it was a different value pack from many years ago. Reece asked if I was a member of the "Regal Crown Club", and I explained to him that I was here with my brother who was a member. Reece was very professional, kind and helpful! It really made my day the way Reece treated me on Easter Day, after so many years of not visiting the theater. I wanted to give Reece a nice monetery tip when I returned to get a refill on my Large Popcorn and Soft Drink! If many of Regal Cinemas' employees were like Reece, I would spend the extra money to enjoy the entire movie experience on a weekly basis. My brother ordered the refills for me, so I wanted to thank Reece for making today a memorable Easter and Movie Experience! Reece reminded me that there still is exemplary customer service in Hawaii! If Reece continues his great customer service, I know he will have a prosperous career in whatever field he chooses in life! Mahalo again Reece for treating and reminding me of what Easter is all about in life! "Treat others the way you would like to be treated!" Reece deserves recognition for representing Regal Theaters wonderfully, and for blessing me with a "WOW" experience! Kudos to Reece! Sincerely,...

My husband and I we always came to this movie theatre out of the majority of all the other ones. We loved the location and I liked how we can always find parking(night time on a weekend) or walk around the mall to wait for our movie. Other than that, last night we went to see War Dogs and as we got our tickets I noticed that the movie time was way past our arrival time, so I had to go back and wait in line to get my tickets corrected. I'm happy the ticket teller didn't give me any funny business. As my husband was getting a drink, I went into our assigned theatre 5 and went to find a seat on the third row going up from the handicap section. It wasn't packed as usual, but still all the good seats were taken so I sat in the middle of the row. I started to play my pokemon go while waiting for my husband, 7 mins into movie previews, I noticed my back was getting itchy, I started scratching thinking it was nothing, but maybe my skin peeling from the recent sunburn I had last weekend. Through out the whole movie I was scratching my back, chest, head, legs, feet and arms. Then I realize what my Mom had mention three months ago on facebook of how people were complaining about a bug problem at the windward regal theatre. Im not sure what kind of bugs they were, but they bite mean, I had to endure also the 20 minutes drive home to Aiea. So sadly I'm not coming back unless im wearing a whole lot of bug repellent. Update: 9/06/16 , I found out it was bed bugs... After a few days I noticed big red bumps on my back and legs in a pattern. I had to clean my car really good and get rid of my mattress and replace my couch... I never had this happen before... Another thing to...

I just watched Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and while I enjoyed the movie, the experience was absolutely horrible. I don't know if it was related to projector settings or if it was faulty equipment, but in Auditorium 3, the image being projected was muted and dull of color. Faint traces of blue and green were bleeding through the image, there was a box with vertical green lines in the lower right portion of the screen that could be seen against scenes with white background (unfortunately, this happened a lot in the beginning of the movie due to the snow-filled background of Icewind Dale), skin tones were lifeless, and colors had no vibrancy. The movie felt dead, including the landscapes. Rather than being majestic, they were flat and uninviting.

To be clear, this was no fault to the production of the movie, as I've seen from trailers at other theaters how the image should appear. This was entirely due to the theater's use of faulty equipment or the staff not understanding how to properly calibrate their projector. Though I asked the staff to check on the projector at the beginning of the movie, and they seemingly sent personnel to troubleshoot, no correction was made.

I really wanted to enjoy this movie, and as I stated earlier, I did enjoy everything from a production and directorial point-of-view, but, unfortunately, it was viewing the movie at this particular theater that completely ruined the experience. I highly recommend watching movies at...

I'm off on Mondays, wanted to see A Working Man, and didn't feel like driving into town just to see the movie in a Titan Luxe theater so I walked over to Windward Mall and used self-service to buy my ticket ($13.49 + tax, I'm a senior), buy something to eat/drink: 6pc Chicken Tender & Fries ($15.30 + tax) and a medium Diet Pepsi ($6.99 + tax). So, $37.46 to see a movie with a meal. It would have been more in town. The movie was in theater 5, to the right of the concession area, and it was almost deserted ... perhaps a dozen people watched the movie. I was pleasantly surprised at the chicken tender and fries; they were well cooked and tasty. The 6pc gets you two containers of sauce ... BBQ, for me. The seats recline and there is ample aisle space, even with your seat reclined. That's the good. The bad: There aren't any tables for your food. I had to hold my meal in my lap, trying not to get BBQ sauce on me as I ate. The movie? I don't expect art when watching something with Jason Statham. Like Arnold, Sylvester (who had a role as producer and writer), and Bruce ... you know what you're going to get when you buy your ticket. Action galore, and one has to ignore reality and just enjoy the ride. A Working Man reminds me of Commando (with Arnold) and Taken.

This is the closest theater to us, but still a 1 hour drive from our home. We came to watch a movie for my son’s birthday and were refused entry by the Manager, Cody and Justin. They were so adamant to adhere to “regal policy” and refused to let us in to a rated R movie with our 6 year old. We asked for a refund and it was only partial, they “couldn’t” refund the $10 fee for buying the tickets through their app. So now we have a partial refund and an hour drive right back home (2 hours total wasted and birthday ruined) BUT… get this.. I took a look at Regal’s policy, under 6 not permitted.. UNDER 6!! Ages 6-16 allowed in with an adult!! I called The theater right back and they continued to say no the policy is 6 and under, I’ve worked here for 8 years..blah blah. I told him, “Would you like me to read the policy on your site?” And I did. And this guy goes, “Well, the policy can vary by location”. So let’s recap, 2 hours driving time wasted, partial refund, birthday ruined, all because the managers at this location don’t know their own damn policy!

Okay theater overall. Stadium seating is nice but the movies don’t start on time because they stuff in 15 minutes more commercials before the trailers. Seriously. The movie was supposed to start at 6:50. The COMMERCIALS, (not the upcoming movie trailers), we’re playing until 7:05. Then the trailers started… We could’ve showed up at 7:19 and not missed a single frame of the movie. 29 minutes after the supposed start time… FARRRRRRRRR too many commercials.
