One of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii was to see, touch, and feel the spirit of this sacred temple! We also enjoyed visiting with some of the Sister missionaries serving from international communities including Korea and Philippines! They so cute and very friendly!

Our 5th child who lives in Laie. He had the wonderful privilege of.being called into the Laie 7th Ward Bishopric as the First Counselor. He's works as a 2nd grade school teacher and has been assisting the Kahuku High School soccer boys JV and Varsity teams.

Beautiful. Should stop and visit and get a couple pictures. Peaceful and most beautiful grounds in a beautiful place.

This is where I go to church every Sunday. We have a wonderful, friendly congregation of beautiful people from all different ethnic backgrounds. Families gather at 10:00 AM in the chapel to sing hymns, take the sacrament (communion), and listen to members of the congregation share inspirational thoughts and witness of Jesus Christ. At 11:15 we have Sunday School, then at 12:15 we have a meeting for our women's organization, the Relief Society, and also our men's organization (Priesthood), plus meetings for youth and children. We have a Deaf group that meets with us, so there is ASL translation in our meetings, plus a Deaf Sunday School class. There are two church buildings on the lot, and the one I go to is the one closer to the temple (mountain side). We'd love to...

I go to this temple every week this week will be 3 times. Every time I go, the joy the peace the happiness fills from deep in my chest to the putter extremities in my whole being. I've had multiple spiritual experiences from feeling and seeing spirits that we're excited about the help they are receiving that day and hearing a lot of things like "thank you" and "we are free"(someone that was with me yesterday doing baptisms heard this) all the way to seeing visions of things to come. Great place! Love it lots, no judgement within the walls of this temple even with my long hair. For business I usually have my hair in a bun, but when I'm in this temple I let my hair down, and am able to have a lot of peace. #longhairmormonrare...

It Never fails to amaze me the beauty of this structure and its surrounding garden. It is so serene and enlightening. Out of all the places in Hawaii this one has the most calming feelings about it. Cool story back in ww2 the Japanese tried to bomb it because it was the biggest structure on the entire north-east side of the island but everything they flew over their mechanical bomb release wouldn't work. Must see, the Polynesian cultural center does a free tour from the center to the temple and back. Or just go there and stay for a while, it's worth the stop! Then check out active Oahu tours in Laie for kayak, snorkel tours and stand up...
