Such a great place for a quick lunch takeout meal! Right now they are takeout only and do not have a dine in option. All the dishes had great flavor and came out relatively quickly (within 25 minutes).

The kalua pork is delicious!!! It had such great flavor and the portion size was generous.

Curry katsu chicken: the chicken was very crispy and had a great curry sauce.

Seafood mix: Delicious fried fish and shrimp! Everything was very crispy and fired to perfection.

Spicy garlic shrimp: It seems fried so the shell is almost edible and very crispy. The spicy garlic flavor was sooo good. Some of the best shrimp we have had on the island!

Teriyaki bbq: Great flavor but the meat pieces were a bit too big.

Had a great dinner here while I was visiting Hawaii. I know this is a food chain vs an individual local joint, but honestly, their food was better than what I found at a couple of local places. They do a great job with their katsu chicken and bbq(teriyaki) chicken, and there's always way too much food for me to eat in one sitting, so I get to enjoy it the next day for lunch as well! I ordered a combo meal with teriyaki and katsu chicken. Ran about $14 if I remember right. My wife and I shared the meal. Stuffed ourselves, and then saved the rest for the next day. So really we had about 4 meals out of it for the $14 price. not bad!

This is my favorite L&L location for their chicken katsu and katsu curry. I would recommend getting the mini size unless you are super super hungry; it is almost the same amount of food, but the regular has a tiny bit more meat and a lot more rice. Each L&L location has slightly different katsu sauce and I must say that this location’s sauce flavor is by far my favorite.
