My first visit was great. A gal helped me find all of my crocheting needs from start-to-finish. Loved the educational discussion too!
My second visit to this location was ridiculous. I don't want to say bad, but man is there room for improvement-- especially for 1pm on a Thursday.
Are there no floor associates guiding customers through the holiday mess this year? Making sure lines run efficiently? Being present for customers to ask questions to? Acting as support to keep the flow of traffic moving?
Is there a reason one of your lady workers stands at the front, watching the lines get MASSIVE, distracting the rest of your team, while coughing every 3 minutes, and without opening a new register?
Why did I have to watch the longer line go quicker than mine because some random customer was playing conductor with new customers allowing them to cut her - and me - while she waited for her kid to bring her bring something?
A floor associate should have been redirecting the waiting customers in the order they arrived in a first come, first serve manner!
What about the workers on the register-- are they not required to ensure their station is 100% ready PRIOR to opening?
Why did I have to wait to be checked out because my register gal failed to prep her station with proper tender? And no counterfeit marker?
A floor associate should have been there to guide the customer needing change to a holding area, rather hold up the rest of us.
And why did I have to wait while ALL register employees gossiped about their colleague who isn't coming into work today and how "convenient she called in on her son's birthday" instead of making my purchase? Learn to multi-task!! You do not need to stop my transaction for your conversation! Inappropriate & rude.
Hate this type of service. Have some humility, people. And while you are getting paid to work, I'm not. So STOP wasting my time for your LACK of efficiency &...

From the extensive selection of products to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, this store truly caters to hobby enthusiasts like myself.
One of the major highlights of my visit was the remarkable range of products available at Hobby Lobby. The store offers an impressive variety of art supplies, home decor items, crafting materials, and more. It was a treasure trove for hobbyists, with endless options to explore. Moreover, the store was thoughtfully organized, making it easy to navigate and find specific items. The staff members were exceptional in their customer service, always ready to lend a helping hand or provide expert advice on various products and techniques.
While my overall experience was highly positive, I must mention that some items seemed slightly overpriced compared to other similar stores in the area. However, considering the exceptional variety and quality offered by Hobby Lobby, the pricing was still justifiable to a certain extent.
In conclusion, my visit to Hobby Lobby in O'Fallon was an exceptional shopping experience for hobby enthusiasts. The store's extensive range of products, well-organized layout, and helpful staff members contributed to a pleasurable outing. Despite the slightly higher prices on certain items, the value and quality of the merchandise make Hobby Lobby a top choice for hobbyists, artists, and crafters. Read moreHorrible experience today , after waiting 20-30min to get fabric cut ringing the bell and combing the area for help. Myself and an elderly lady cut our own fabric and wrote tickets for it. As we are finishing a lady comes up and starts accusing the elderly lady of theft and how dare she cut her own fabric. I should have went and defended her then, but didn't. So the fabric lady had a manager up front stoping me so I can't by the fabric. After waiting in a huge line the manager tells me I can not buy the fabric without going back and having the lady write a ticket. I told her to take it back. She said I can't I am a manager. I said this is BS and walked back. The fabric lady was gone again. So I did ring the bell obnoxiously and yelled because i was livid at this point. She comes up and tells me I tried to steal and shouldn't have gotten in the drawers. I said its not stealing till you walk out the door and the scissors were laying out. She then belittles me telling me how horrible my life must be. I said some choice words back that were not nice either but this was ridiculous at this point. I have never been treated so bad in my life at a retail store. I probably am not welcomed back, but will not go until under...
