I'd been hearing about Candycopia for months now and finally decided to stop in today in search of a sweet treat for my father in law's birthday celebration this weekend. It definitely lives up to, and even exceeds, expectations! We were warmly greeted by staff as soon as we walked in - talk about a good customer service model! There's such a wide variety of candies to choose from, my fiance and I had to walk around for almost 10 minutes before we decided what to buy! There truly is something for everyone, including candies from all over the world and even some vegan options. They also have specialty sodas and a section dedicated to spicy candy. I've never seen so many choices in a local candy shop! We made our way to the candy bar and picked a build your own tackle box, which Neveah so carefully and patiently filled with each of our requested candies. The tackle boxes allow you to select up to 18 different candies for a very fair price! We were also encouraged to sample candies we weren't sure about before we bought them! Sarah also helped us out today with excellent customer service. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and I'm excited to gift some of these candies, and I'm very glad I bought some for myself too! Read moreI LOVE Candycopia for SO many reasons. For starters, it is a great place to go with my kids as a special treat. They have rows of candy jars filled with different gummies and chocolates. My kids go in and can make a little bag with their own mixture of treats for just a couple of dollars. The end of a bike ride, a reward for doing something great, just feeling like doing something special that day...all perfect reasons to visit Candycopia. It's also been my new "Go to" spot for birthday or thank you gifts. I love getting a gift card, or even better, bringing the birthday kid in with me and letting them pick out their own "tackle box" full of different treats. It's essentially a plastic box with 18 different squares that the kid can fill with the gummies and chocolates of their choosing. SO. MUCH. FUN! And let's not forget the adults. There is chocolate, fudge, handmade caramels, ice cream....so many options!! The owners are so kind and helpful in picking out the perfect treat. We have already been to Candycopia an embarrassing amount of times since they opened and will continue to keep going because we love it...

We were greeted by a friendly staff who offered suggestions and even gave us a few samples to try..I loved the Swedish Fish jelly beans! So good I had to buy a bag to take home.
We tried a flight of small batch caramels..yes a flight of candy! The Sea Salt Caramel was my favorite. Soft buttery flavor .
Next was the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel . The cocoa and sea salt make a perfect combination.
Last was the Cider Lemon Caramel.I was hesitant at first but the mixture of honey and lemon cider from Weis Cider House reminded me of a Lemon Shandy.
All 3 were excellent. I finished with Manhattan Truffle which was smooth dark chocolate with cherries. Fantastic!
