I booked an appointment for a pedicure and short acrylic set with a technician named Kyra. My apt was booked for 10 am. On my way there i realized i was going to be around 10 minutes late so i called ahead of time to let them know. The lady who answered told me they have a 15 min grace period and after the apt gets cancelled- which is fine. I arrived around 10:10 am. The other nail techs advised me that Kyra was on her way and would be there shortly. As 10:45 am rolls around still no communication on where she was at. I finally asked again and was told she’d be there shortly. finally around 11:05 Am she arrived. A whole hour later. Her excuse was she was late because she did not know someone had booked for her… Which I don’t understand being if you have a 10 AM slot available to book you should be there available..
Moving forward she apologized and i gave her the benefit of the doubt and allowed her to do my nails. We had nice conversation and at the end of the apt I was not even offered any type of accommodation or discount for my time being wasted & the unprofessionalism of being an HOUR late with no communication. I still went ahead and paid full price with no complaint as well as tipped for my services.
Not even a WEEK later my nails start popping off. Usually my nails can go 3+ weeks before they even start lifting. After my 3rd nail came off out of no where I messaged Kyra a picture and advised her of my concerns, inquiring if she would be willing to fix my nails. She stated she is not responsible for them since it’s been a week & I would have to PAY MORE to have them fixed. I adv her how i felt on my entire experience and how unprofessional & disappointing this whole situation was. All she had to say back was she’s sorry i feel that way and she hopes i can find someone to accommodate me and to have a great day…
Never in my life have I experienced such horrible customer service when it comes...
Read moreI scheduled my appointment Friday evening with Jamiya(sp) for 9:30 Saturday morning. I live nearby so I walked and arrived to the shop at 9:25. Much to my surprise, the doors are locked and not a worker in sight. I waited until 9:32 before walking back home. I then received a call from Jamiya apologizing for the tardiness and she wasn’t expecting to open but she should arrive to the shop shortly. Let’s start here, if you know you have a 9:30 client, opening or not you were late regardless. I returned to the shop at 9:50 for my gel manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was nice although I thought my tech was a bit talkative and became a little too familiar. I’m a polite person so I engaged but I go to the salon to relax, not have someone ask me a million questions back to back, stop my services and divulge into their life experiences and ask if I can bring them a smoothie sometime (joking or not I thought it was a bit much). I honestly think if there was less talking my pedicure would have finished sooner. Now for my manicure, about an hour after leaving my thumbs smeared. I was scheduled to return later that Saturday but had another appointment that ran over. I rescheduled for Sunday but 4 nails chipped after washing dishes! Not good!!! I’ve had no chip manicures last 3 weeks all while working out, typing for work, washing and cleaning. I chose not to return because at this point I didn’t think the quality would get better. I honestly had the impression my tech was new or hadn’t been long in the industry. Nice young lady but acts too familiar, talkative and manicure was subpar. 3 stars for the free mimosa, ambiance and nice owner. Sadly I won’t return bc I’ve had better quality gel manicures elsewhere. Yes, the free drink is a nice touch but I’m more concerned about my no chip manicure lasting longer than...
Read moreMy first time it was their grand opening…I was impressed. That day the service I got was a no chip pedi…again I was impressed. Made an appointment before I left. Now here is the problem I experienced with my 2nd visit no chip mani/pedi. The tech put regular polish on feet but to make sure they dried she placed a no chip top coat. My no chip mani was okay so I thought. I left got home took my shoes off feet are messed up, I sat there for 2 hours getting nails done would have thought they would have dried. They did have me come back, but that tech had a hard time getting the polish off because I guess the top coat was a no chip over a regular polish. Still giving this establishment another try I went back diff tech no chip mani/pedi, was there from 4pm until almost 9pm too long. A week later one of mine nails the polish has lifted off my nail, I was able to take it off. I can glue It back that’s how it came off. I have notice some of my other nails are lifting as well, after a week smh. The techs are freshly out of school for nails, and they are still learning. That’s fine but they should have some experienced tech there as well. I’m being charge for professional work but not getting quality work. Maybe it will get better but I won’t be back...
