Very steep walk up to the falls. Not dangerous other than possibility of slipping on the rock steps. A lot of sand and gravel on the granite steps can make it a little challenging coming back down. It took us 8 hours counting the time we spent on top. The views are amazing & worth the effort. I am 61 and in fair shape. Took my time and was fine. Lots of switchbacks at decent inclines along the way!
My wife & I consumed 7L of water for the trip. I was able to pull some from the river on top and purify for the way down.

I highly recommend this trail, but be prepared. Sunny day, bring lots of water, sunhat...

It's the elevation change that kicks you in your rear. You're gonna climb about 3,400 feet. But the view at the top of the falls is worth it. One of the most breathtaking vantage points I've ever...
