Located near the Yosemite NP Visitor Center in Yosemite Valley, this museum is certainly worth a visit. The varied landscape paintings of Yosemite National Park are simply beautiful.
There are also exhibits in which one can learn about the human history of the valley. Some of these displays are about the "discovery" of Yosemite Valley by notable European explorers. Others can teach one about the Native Americans that had populated this magnificent Yosemite Valley for centuries. The Native basket display is amazing. Outside, exhibits continue as there are great examples of authentic Native buildings typically found in past local Indian Villages.
