Sentinel Bridge Parking Area — Local services in Oakhurst

This is a parking lot on the north side of Sentinel Drive and Sentinel Bridge. It's accessed from Sentinel Drive when entering from Southside Drive. You can't access the parking lot if entering Sentinel Drive from Northside Drive, so if you're coming from Northside Drive you'll need to go to El Capitan crossover to Southside Drive and enter that way.

This parking lot has a stop nearby for the Yosemite Valley Shuttle. Sentinel bridge is just across the Road from the parking lot, and Cooks Meadow is just behind it. Cook's Meadow has great views of the Yosemite Falls and the granite cliffs and some fun and easy hiking trails for the family. Sentinel Bridge has a great views of Half Dome, which reflects in the Merced River when the waters are slower.
