Eastmont Town Center — Attraction in Oakland

It is a mall converted into social service type businesses as well as medical and dental for the low income who get County medical or State Medi-Cal. They have an SSI (Social Security) place, Social Services Admin place for food stamps, General Assistance, cash aid, CalWorks, Medi-Cal, and other help for low income persons and families. A WIC office is here for women and their offspring, and there is a great WIC approved grocery store for WIC check bearers to spend the checks on. They even have a County library and a place for disabled persons, known as IHSS, known as In Home Support Services, which helps set up in home care and support for those in need. There are other offices here, a Bank of America, places to aid the Elderly, Employment Centers, and more help for children in need (not sure if a Children and Family Service center, which hosts CPS).

Otherwise with one lone elevator and two story parking, this mall looks completely deserted. It does have a bus center here and an old fashioned double archway McDonald's outside, and probably another banking center, so if you came for help you can find help for every type of human being here, just...

Eastmont wellness center is a good place if u needs a doctor's appointment and get the social security office and Saturday appointment foot care room 150 and eastmont management is outside pass the glass,and lab work room 400,eye care room 450 and children's dentist across from the eye doctor ,medical records,WIC store,library for computer and restroom,fax machine,read and study, welfare department downstairs,snack bar,seniors age center for events,social security career center computer for a job,doctor office for children and babies,there is a school location in building, and eastmont security guard office near by,quest office lab for blood draw,women client room 350,alambuance pickup and Mac Donald restaurant outside parking lot,2 clothing store downstairs back entrance and there is a grocery store and burgers king,taco Bell,senior apartment complex on church Street, and the Oakland police department and all AC transit bus line San Francisco NL bus line,40 bus line,57 bus line,98 bus line,73 bus line,45 bus line and Oakland FIRE department across the street from eastmont wellness center parking lot on MacArthur Blvd/ 73 Rd street Oakland...

Well it amazes me how there can be so much bad stuff going on right under the OPD nose. But this area is definitely my last go to place to shop or take care of business. It has the government health center. Ssi ssdi office. Welfare office etc. In the back side of the mall there is a shiek shoe store. Rainbow, beauty supply store, gazzali's grocery store, CVS, dd's discount boa, western union/check cashing store, burger king, auto zone, and taco bell. All the other stores have been closed down or shut out of business. They also have a cricket phone store, and a men's clothing store inside of the mall. There is a lot of solicitors and others who hang out in front of the mall and on the premises. So its def my last resort of a place to shop. But that's just me. If you can look past the crime and all the other stuff. Then I guess its a cool little one stop shop. But for me personally there's other places all over Oakland to get the things offered here other places so I can avoid all...
