Fong’s Cafe — Restaurant in Oakland

This place has the worst, and I mean the worst customer service. Everytime a person who answers the phone she or he says "what do you want?" I'm like excuse me. Other restaurants I go to they say "Can I take your order please? Or "Are you ready to order"? Not, only did this restaurant answer the phone like I was annoying them, they eventually hung up the phone on me. Now, I've been to this restaurant over 20 times, and I'm sick of how this restaurant treats black people. Black people keep you all in business, and how do you show your gratitude, you rush us off the phone, and hang up on us. Moreover, I can't understand the staff, but I still supported the company, and im saying enough is enough. If you're black and keep supporting this business, you're absolutely insane. Black people, have some pride in yourself and find another breakfast place, and when this company starts to lose business, watch how their attitudes change, but it'll be...

Service was pretty quick and food was well seasoned. The hasbrowns were very fresh you can tell they don't use frozen potatoes. The only thing I didn't like was I wasn't sure if you go to the counter or if they were going to come to me to order. I had to get up ask and then they told me they would come to me. The place is very small with only the counter seats you see in the picture and 4 small 2 seated tables. I came with a baby but I wouldn't recommended it unless you like holding them. (I have a busy body 1 yr old so that was. No fun lol) I will be going again to try other items...

Came in the morning waited outside because she told me to wait 20 minutes while I was waiting there were people inside already eating, so I waited 20 minutes then called and she told me I need to wait another 15 and I told her I've already been waiting 20 while its other customers inside eating I just end up telling her never mind I left but I don't like waiting so long especially while technically the business is open I don't know what kind of agreement she had with those customers inside but it should have been open to me as well I feel like I had to be someone...
