Spin City Laundry — Attraction in Ocala

My wife & I are senior citizens. We have done our laundry at this facility on many occasions & have spent a GREAT DEAL OF MONEY to use their washers and dryers. We went again yesterday to do our laundry as usual and had an absolutely horrible experience!! Just as we normally do, we started our laundry and got one of the laundry carts that are provided for their customers use. We had no sooner got the washer loaded and put our hangers onto the cart and were told by one of the attendants that she needed to use it. We thought that really odd because that had never happened to us in the past and none of the other patrons were being asked to relinquish the carts that they were using. When we told the attendant that we were using the cart, another attendant whom we assume was the manager, yelled very loudly and aggressively at us across the room to give her our cart!! At that point, we were literally FORCED to relinquish our cart!! Your manager is doing this all to us in front of a room full of other customers and it was totally unprofessional!! After some time the attendant returned the laundry cart to us, only to come back moments later to take it away from us yet again. It was again returned, only to be taken from us a third time by your manager to give to another customer who she was allowing to use to take outside to get their laundry from their car. This is a violation of your very own written policy that she should be enforcing rather than harassing 2 elderly customers!! On another occasion, we couldn’t help but notice that your manager allowed yet another customer to use the laundry cart labeled specifically for “attendant use only” to take their laundry outside. We wish to inform you, as well as all of your customers, that you have a manager that is very willing to publicly display her prejudices towards the elderly that want to use your facility!! In our opinion, her actions were aggressive bordering on dangerous!! Obviously, we will never use your place of business again!! We will urge everyone else that we know to...

DO NOT PUT MONEY ON A MACHINE UNLESS YOU ARE USING IT RIGHT AWAY. I had a friend leave 15 minutes of time on a dryer for me, I had to wait for my clothes to wash, when I got to the dryer the time was gone. I found out from the attendent that if you put money on a machine and its not started right away it will start counting down the minutes even if it's not running. If you think you are helping someone by paying it forward, don't bother because it will probably be gone before someone notices. Also who ever heard of a laundromat that doesn't have a change machine? You can use your own card on the machines or you can purchase one of their own cards to do laundry, the machines do use quarters, but make sure you bring your quarters with you because there is no where to get change there. Maybe they can get it for you at the register, but when I asked about a change machine they didn't offer and just told me all they had was the machine to buy or reload their card so I went to another laundromat. If the machines take your money they will tell you to submit a request through their website- the issue is that the company WILL NOT REFUND YOU! This is the second time I've gone through the process of trying to receive a refund from money I lost on their machines and the company continuously lies and says that they don't see where my credit card is in their system. I've provided photos and evidence from my bank statement showing pictures were my card was charged - however they denied both claims and continued to lie saying they don't see a charge to refund me. Please know if their machine cuts off on you and stops working- you will NOT get your money back! The last time I was in there they didn't even put a sign on the machine that it was out order.
