Looking for classic arcade games? They have more than other local arcades but still not much. At this writing there is a PacMan pixel bash sit-down (30+ Namco classics), Frogger, DK/DKjr/Mario, Simpsons, and the frequently seen class of 81 reunion Ms. pac Galaga. 5 or 6 pinballs and the rest claw machines. There is one of the "Raw Thrills" games, Halo Fire team Raven. While not the fault of the owner operator, the Pac Man pixel bash machine has only 4-way controllers and games like Dragon Spirit and even Gaplus that require the 8 way are miserable to play with 4. Perhaps there is an aftermarket retofit or mod for this? Pity they DON'T any longer have the SPY HUNTER machine. Unfortunately while the machines were in great condition, most of them had their volume all the way down except for Donkey Kong/JR/Mario, and even that one you could hardly hear. Don't know why some arcades choose to do this. Taking away the sound from games removes part of the experience. A nice clean place overall for a little fun, but if you're looking for classic games even this misses the overall experience.

We strolled leisurely down the main strip and came upon the arcade. Boy were we so glad we found this place. There were so many fun games such as: Wheel of Fortune, Basketball, Skeet ball, Wack a Mole etc. some of the prizes were amazing. Just this summer they gave away an electric bike and a electric scooter. We won a mermaid doll for our little one, some fun toys and a whole lot of candy🤗. We enjoyed the children playing as a team together to win prizes and mom got a break from the TV being on. We will be back next year.

Me and family stay at the Avalon in June. This is a nice little arcade within walking distance. My nephews enjoy playing the games and I even won a Sunny the Seagull. The arcade is a dying breed which is why I'm glad this one is still around. Plus, they have a cool Tampa Bay Buccaneers display inside. One of my favorite features, especially since it's off my favorite player and reason I'm a Bucs fan- Mike Alstott.

The owner of this establishment is an old cantankerous man. He not only is rude, but he LIES. Don't trust the scale machine either. Count your tickets ahead of time. Don't rely on his gimmick scale. Also, just know that when the machine button is red, it means no tickets. But I found out the hard way. He then came over to the machine AFTER I deposited my money and it was guaranteed to dispense tickets, it didn't. So I asked him for my quarter back. He proceeds to tell me no. So I asked for tickets. He said he didn't know how much it dispensed. BS. If you're the damn owner, you know how many tickets it dispenses. Also, he told me he could not get into the machine to give me my quarter back which was also a lie as I walked away and saw him open the quarter machine part. I was so pissed, I reached in and grabbed my tickets and he told me to "just go. " He is an old sad liar who literally should not be around kids nor should he be running an establishment. Don't let your kids near him. He literally hates life and people....

I had an exceptional experience at this establishment. Its location is perfect—far enough from the hustle and bustle to provide a relaxed atmosphere, yet still accessible. The entire place is impeccably clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a plus.

The staff truly stands out, especially a young man named J, who made my visits even more enjoyable. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the part-owners, a knowledgeable and cheerful individual.

The arcade features brand new, top-of-the-line games, and the prizes are impressive and reasonably priced. The ice cream selection was delightful, with around ten delicious flavors to choose from. Additionally, the small dining area with TVs provided a comfortable spot to take a break and enjoy a treat.

Overall, I had a wonderful time and found myself returning multiple times, largely due to the fantastic staff. I highly recommend this place and will...
