Spencer Fox Eccles Pioneer Stadium — Attraction in Ogden

The rodeo was top notch, but this was our first time and we made a big mistake. So hopefully I can help you to not make the same mistake. We bought seats for the rodeo on the first row of Section K. It is farther away from the bucking chutes, but we knew we would still have a great view of the roping and barrel racing. We bought front row seats (at a premium) because we wanted to be close to the action. If you are going to get any seat on the South Side ( Sections J-P I think). DO NOT BUY TICKETS IN THE FIRST 3 OR 4 ROWS. The walkway on that side is at the same level as the seats, so our view was blocked the entire night from people walking back and forth and it ruined the whole experience and magic of the rodeo. Just felt like it was so crowded and disorganized. You have to walk so far to a bathroom, they should have restrooms on both sides available so you don’t have to walk through a crowd. The sun in the seats is also awful. Like I expected that it would be in the sun, but it just was too hot and not a lot of fun. Also they had some low flying jets during an opening ceremony that really hurt our ears and made the kids cry. We weren’t expecting it to happen, but just would have been nice to know that it was coming to be prepared. I attended the Thursday, July 20th 2023 rodeo event at Ogden Pioneer Stadium, and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience! The best seats in the house from the RC Willey drawing were undoubtedly the ones closet to bill riding and bronc chutes. From there, I had a perfect view of all the thrilling rodeo action. The atmosphere was electric, and I could feel the excitement in the air. The organizers did an excellent job of ensuring everyone's safety and comfort.
