Not a beach for the usual beach goer. On first glance this place looks like a dump but on closer inspection the "litter" is actually the remains of some large building. There is all sorts of brick and masonry strewn about the sands as well as actual cinderblock foundation points. Some of the stone moldings look like they are from around the 20's or 30's but I have not been able to figure out what this place was. There is also a wooden outline out in the water of where the structure(s) used to be. Makes for some great photos and an interesting (brief) walk listening to the waves crash up against the remnants. Worth visiting for the aesthetic value and if want a nicer walk just go south along the Laurence Harbor walkway. I would be wary to bring young kids here but this would be cool for the more adventuresome types. The facilities are well maintained at the aforementioned Laurence Harbor side ('Paul's Beach') as well as a municipal (police) station. I did not see anyone walking...
