Play Land — Attraction in Old Bridge Township

We had my son’s 4th birthday party here over the weekend. He loved it! There is truly so much for the kids to do there- they never seemed to get bored. Some things I loved were: The cleanliness. Everything was so clean! I was comfortable enough putting my 7 month old baby down on the ground to play (this is not always the case) The ease of having the party. I chose the package that included all party decorations and it did not disappoint. Everything looked great & the best part was that I didn’t have to do any of it. It also included coffee and donuts for adults which is a plus bc who doesn’t need coffee? 10/10 recommend being able to just show up at the party and not have to carry in decorations, set things up etc. The owner was very easy to work with, always getting back to me in a timely manner whenever I contacted her. Her and the other staff member were very friendly and also were trying to keep up some picking up after the kids as they were wrecking the place (lol) She also helped gather everything at the end of the party (a bag for gifts, leftover pizza and things) Overall, I definitely recommend Play land for a birthday party. The kids will love it! We will definitely be back...

Who are those reviewing this place and giving it a 4.9? Immediately NO. Mean staff! It's like the having children come in is such a burden! Music is not kid friendly. Glad I decided to come see for myself before booking it for my son's birthday or recommending to anyone. Came because I am IG review about it. It's a neater indoor version of a regular public park that's it!

Edit: I am editing this review as my child had so much fun playing here. They do have a lot of activities for children to enjoy. I wrote my initial review after dealing with the staff upon arrival. So, ignoring the staff, the place is great and safe. Everything was thought of to ensure safe play for the children. You have to sign a waiver upon arrival or online but really, you can tell safety is a priority! I absolutely would recommend it for children. I guess expecting a welcoming smile is asking for too much. Also, thanks for responding to my initial review, your place is great after getting past the front desk. The bright colors are very attractive for learning but please change the batteries on most of the toys (not really a bug deal for me as there were a lot more toys for my child...

I'm giving it 3 stars due to the music. The activities are great. I do think socks for adults should be complimentary or included in pricing as an added safety measure.

Very clean. Cleanliness is important especially with kids I truly appreciate that. I didn't see hand sanitizer around but if it's not there at different stations it would be a great addition.

However, the music. The song had the f word, b word, a word. I had to outwardly say "the music" then one attendant said I will change it after this. However about a minute later she asked the other staff to switch the music. Because this has been in other reviews I'm giving it a 3. Whether there are kids there are not this is a child establishment. At no point in time should curses be played in the dwelling. Maybe after hours when you're locking up and cleaning but it left a concerning taste in my mouth.

I'll definitely return but this needs to be addressed since this has been a complaint before. Also it would be nice if attendants weren't on their phone but just monitoring in the archway in case a parent needs something or things...
