Took Duke on a small adventure today. He got a car ride to Sheffield Park and we walked some of the paved trail. Absolutely gorgeous morning. We had the trail to ourselves. This boy was so happy and excited to do some exploring. #germanshepherd #FLDog #flliving

In Oñdsmsr for 35 years now, we used to come visit this park, only 2 blocks from our daughter’s house. Our grandsons played softball and other sports here. It’s a great place for a casual stroll, a spirited run, a great playground for the kiddies. Or a picnic with 3 different covered areas with tables. A regulation softballl court with a resident Osprey nest watching over the games. A dog park area for running and playing. A wonderful kids area with tons of activities for the kids. There are also high screened courts that may have been for tennis but now maybe pickleball. A nice biking/jogging trail through the park that leads to a continued paved trail beside a tarpon Canal for a good stretch. But the highlight for me was the huge mural on the sidewalk at the entrance by Noelle Jordan Stillwell, Floridian artist. Beautifully drawn Florida Butterñues and Flowers. What a neat way to welcome people into the park. Plenty of parking by entrance. Open Dawn until 9 PM. Check it out.

Sheffield Park and Harbor Palms Park are two popular public parks located in Oldsmar, Florida. Sheffield Park is a large green space with a playground, picnic areas, and sports fields, including baseball and soccer fields. It also features a paved walking trail, a fitness station, and a dog park. The park is well-maintained and offers a relaxing environment for visitors of all ages. Harbor Palms Park is a smaller park located on the waterfront and connected to Sheffield Park, offering scenic views of Tampa Bay. It features a fishing pier and Disc Golf. Overall, both parks provide a great outdoor experience for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.

This park in oldsmar is a nice little park. There are paved walking/biking trails, a baseball/ softball field, a nice playground. There is also a nice disc golf course maintained by the Oldsmar Disc Golf club. The course is 18 holes with 1 to 3 tees per hole to cater to all skill levels. The tees are concrete and the baskets are Innova. It's a fun course with a mix of open and tight fairways. Water comes in to play quite often so lost disc's are a good possibility. Some fairways are near to the paved path so it is good to watch for bikers and walkers before throwing. A restroom is on site but make sure to have some...
