I've made several attempts to enjoy this location with little luck. I work in an office nearby, and would absolutely love to be able to enjoy a salad and soup or sandwich to go. On several occasions, I've been given food with no cutlery, overly dry bread, rock hard cookies, and generally inconsistent quality of food. A few months ago I chose to order a soup and salad and specifically requested a spoon from the manager at the to go counter citing the fact that I had previously had no cutlery provided. The manager said "absolutely!". When I got to my office, I found the manager had provided a knife; but no spoon - for SOUP. After deciding to take a break from this location to perhaps give them a chance to correct their issues and honestly to quell my anger, I gave them another chance today. I ordered a soup and salad. When I got back to my office, I was pleased to find a spoon inside the bag. I then opened the salad to find that the dressing container was less than a quarter filled. I had a full salad and less than a teaspoon of dressing. I think I successfully covered 3 lettuce leaves and a slice of avocado. I called and asked for the manager on duty. Morgan, who claimed to be the manager, sounded incredibly nice but very unprofessional and possibly 15 years old, told me that she was "so totally sorry that happened and will, like, get a voucher out for a salad". When I expressed that this was an ongoing issue in her location and what my previous experiences had been, she only told me that she had new staff and would work with them. Frankly, I don't have time, money, or energy to continue to waste on this location while they train and retrain their employees on the fact that a spoon should come with soup and a dressing container should contain dressing. There is a point where you have to wonder what happened to...
Read moreService is not great. Waited for about 15 mins to place my order, which is fine. Not complaining about wait time. After waiting, starting placing my order, my cashier decides to help 2 other customers while I'm ordering. I have to move aside for them to be assisted. Okay, no big deal. I order, go wait for my order. Call my name, no name on bags. Can't get anyone to tell me which to-go is switch since multiple names are called at once, everyone else grabs their's and I get what I assumed was mine. Drink gets called, same thing. No names on drinks and multiple drink up with no one directing. I leave, get to work and of course, wrong order. Yes, I know, I should have check. Not mad about getting the wrong order. Call in and they can't refund over the phone. Drive back, starts to make correct sandwich without asking. Explain that I'm late and can't wait, which seemed to irritate who ever was helping me. I feel like service and direction could be better. Maybe leave a receipt copy on bag or under drinks. Don't call out 3 different names at one time or if you do wait till people come up before walking away. Just didn't seemed organized, seemed like people were going through the motion of working but not actually trying to serve their customers. The "it's just a job attitude". Anyway, I did get a refund so thank you for that, but this is about the interactions and service which just wasn't there. I get it, you can't please everyone. Just the 2 customer that we're helped in the middle of my order, then when I had an issue, was told I'd be right with AFTER their order was completed. Interesting how my service or lack thereof came 2nd even after waiting in line for "my turn" or needing an issue fixed like the people during my order. Any way, thanks again for the refund, the least...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Panera I've ever been to, and it's not even close. We've lived in the area for about a year now and what I used to attribute to a potential shift in new kitchen hires or just plain old bad luck, I now understand is a consistent problem in management. You can actually tell what items at Panera are pre-made vs. made in-store just by going to this store. "How?" you may ask. It's incredibly easy to tell. Simply, whatever items you don't get absolutely skimped on are the pre-made items. See, this store has an incredible habit of cheaping out on its customers. No matter how many different sandwiches, no matter how many different variations of preparation, they always skimp you on everything made in-house. Ham and Cheese sandwich? 2 pieces of ham, meanwhile, every other Panera gives you like 9 slices of ham. BBQ Chicken sandwich? 1 small scoop of unmarinated chicken thinly spread across a big piece of bread and 2 of the smallest drops of BBQ sauce you've ever seen. Meanwhile, every other Panera tosses the chicken in BBQ sauce to thoroughly coat it and then gives you 2-3 big scoops of chicken to fill the sandwich. I don't know how they've managed to do it, but the management at this Panera has actually made a $10 half of a sandwich even more of a ripoff than it already was. At least at other Paneras, you feel like they're being generous with portions due to the prices. At this Panera, they would suck the cheese out of the mac n cheese bag to put it on a sandwich if they thought it would save them 10 cents. Absolutely the worst Panera in all of Tampa, maybe...
