Service was extremely slow. We ordered an aloha latte and a flybiscus iced tea. The guy did not seem to understand us at the speaker for part of the order and asked us to just complete it at the window. We get to the window and he’s there for several minutes (probably 3 to 4) before even opening it. Mind you, this is a drive through only location so it’s not like they were serving customers inside. Then when we repeat our question, about what flavor syrups they had, he still didn’t get it. After some clarification, we got there eventually. He disappears for another 5 minutes or so and comes back with the tea and an iced coffee instead of the latte. Now granted, I didn’t specify “hot” but I would have expected that unless I specified iced, hot would be the default. But that’s a minor point. He went back in to fix it. We wait another 5 minutes, now with a growing queue behind us. I eventually got my coffee. Then I realized it tastes off and, after a couple of sips and asking my wife to taste to confirm, that the milk used is sour. So overall, bad service and a bad drink as my first-time experience. This morning I placed a mobile app, when I arrived I was the only person there. The barista was discombobulated and seemed rushed. My latte tasted burnt, they were out of my original oatmeal order and instead of telling me that she closed the window and left me there wondering what was going on. Another barista then informed me that they were out of the oatmeal. I asked to be credited. I was told they could not do that so I took the other oatmeal available. Pulled up to drive thru speaker, no one spoke so we waited tried to talk to place an order , still nothing so we pulled up to the Window where an EMPLOYEE WAS STARING DOWN AT HER PHONE AND DID NOT NOTICE ANYTHING the window was shut but we tried to wave but the employee was facing the opposite direction so she could not see us , then she got up I am assuming to check drive thru speaker? but we were at window. We love Kahwa Coffee but was so upset with this experience. We just decided to leave since we were not noticed.
