CountryHouse Residence — Attraction in Omaha

Country House chose the right person for the job when they picked Christina as Director. She is kind, thoughtful and diligent in her duties. She is right in there with the residents; talking, serving, doing whatever is needed. Tracie, the receptionist is always calm, caring and welcoming, whether she is working with visitors or the residents. Katie and Chloe are so good in helping the residents with the various activities, whether it is cooking, painting, crafting. I see so many smiles from the residents when they are with them. Stella and the aides are in there day after day, ensuring the residents are getting the care and attention they need. From all the staff, you can see that these residents are much more to them than just a job. The building is designed so well and it felt like "home" from the first day we checked it out. I was visiting here between 5-6 pm and found it very odd that the staff were complaining to each other how much work they had to do , than another staff said we'll we really have nothing to do until after dinner ,most were on the cell phones or computers apparently from conversation I heard ,doing their home work.I again was caught off guard because the setting area was a mess and my friends mother was told she would have to wait for night shift too do her laundry? Could that staff that had nothing to do not have did it ? All appeared to be teenagers more interested in their plans for after work and their home work than doing the job they are getting paid for very unsettling they were so engaged they had no idea I was...

My dad has lived here for nearly a year and a half and I cannot thank them enough. I know he is safe, well cared for and loved. They have taken the time to learn about dad and what he likes or doesn't like and they are very good at keeping me informed about him. When my mom passed away, many of the staff came to the service to support us as a family. He is well groomed and from day 1 has always said the food is very good. When he goes somewhere with us, he now looks forward to going back to CountryHouse because it is his home and the staff are part of our family. Cannot recommend enough.
