Harman Appliance Sales — Attraction in Omaha

Having moved to the Omaha area almost 4 years ago, I was so wanting a free standing gas range with double ovens to replace the electric one that I kept burning food on :(. Growing up cooking on wood, and having built a new home 12 years ago, I knew that finding customer service from someone that specialized in Appliances was key to getting my dream. Internet searches provided me Harman Appliance and I was so happy to have found them. Monica took amazing care of my order, communicated with me when my original choice was no longer being made, provided options and I now have all new kitchen appliances that look and work fantastic. Their delivery/installer, Jordan was so careful and knowledgeable, showing me the features of the new refrigerator. John did a fantastic job installing and showing me the stove, over the range microwave, and dishwasher settings. Being from a small rural area, I was so pleased to have found a Gem in Omaha. This review is more of a buyer beware. Harman appliance does not service what they sell!! If you have problems with an appliance after it leaves their store, that's YOUR problem. No service and no advocacy with the manufacturer. Look for a company that stands behind their product. We purchased a bundle of appliances when we built our home 5 years ago. Within the year, we had problems with our Thermador range/oven. Pricey unit. And we had to replace the dishwasher within 3 years. Thermador customer service is awful and my husband fixed the unit with the help of youtube. We are now having issues again. 1) I wish that for a $12,000 stove that it would function longer than a year without issues 2) There should at least be a referral to a repair person/company by Harman's. I have a refrigerator freezer from a top manufacturer that needs warranty work. I purchased a different appliance at Harman Appliances recently and even though the product that currently needs warranty work was not purchased from Harman (they did not carry the commercial model I purchased), they (Monica) went above and beyond in assisting and supporting us. It is the same quality of experience I had with Harman (Monica) when I purchased from them recently. In my opinion, quality customer service is what sets apart the best companies from all the others and what should be considered as much as (if not more than) price when shopping particularly for something like appliances.
