It's not the best in the Midwest, but it is good, better than the last two Mexican restaurants I have visited here in Omaha. The portions are good. The prices are reasonable, $9-12 avg per plate. The waitress was polite and the service was good. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, steak tacos, chile rellenos, and enchiladas. Only my niece did not like her steak tacos, but no other family complained. I would consider coming here again. They have spanish music playing, not my type because some of it had some profane words, and sang about subjects I don't approve of, but that is what the world promotes, not Christians. The good thing is that they don't have that music playing in the background super loud that you can't even hear each other talk, like other places do. I could barely hear the music from where we were sitting. I recommend they play edifying music. You may ask yourself why Christians care about what they hear. It is because it is words that come out of men's mouths that contaminate the interior of man, and our Lord Jesus the Christ also said that for every careless word that comes out of the mouth of man, he shall give account on the day of judgement. So that's how important words are, just in case you were wondering. They also don't have TV's all over the place like other places do, which I recommend they keep it that way so that people can socialize, and not just be...
Read moreFirst time dining here I was quite impressed. We were seated promptly after entering the restaurant and brought complementary chips and salsa which were good. I also noticed how the decor of the restaurant was nice, and was also clean as well which is always a good thing. Another thing that stood out about this place was that they had live music and they would go around to each table and have you pick out a song and they would play it for a good 5 minutes. This really helped to make the experience more fun and really feel like you are in Mexico. The food took about 15 minutes after ordering and was pretty good as well not the best Mexican food I have ever had but will not disappoint. My only negative thing that I have to say is that our service was a little slow our waitress never came by to refill drinks and hardly came by to check on us other than when she took our drink and meal orders we had to ask other servers nearby for refills on drinks because we could find our server nearby. But overall I am impressed with place and will be back again...
Read moreWe have come to this restaurant regularly over the years and it has just gone down hill. My boyfriend ordered a burrito without onions today. It came with onions. Now we're not difficult but the entire thing was just onions there wasn't anything else, like the chicken that was noted on the menu, inside the burrito. Usually, if it's just a few he'll power through even though he hates onions. Since there were so many and he specifically asked for no onions, he told the waiter and they said a new one would be created. The new one comes and it is packed full of diced onions AND a straw wrapper was stuffed in the melted cheese. It was obvious this was deliberate. We are nice people and we weren't rude at all. There was absolutely no reason for this reaction. They offered to make it a third time but our group was done eating and it seemed like a bad idea given the straw this time. This coupled with our waitress never coming by to fill our drinks. We won't be returning, which is a real shame because it was one of our regular...
