At this point I really wish I could give a zero star review. I NEVER leave negative reviews and Iâm not sure Iâve ever left a Google review before at all good or bad, but
We took my husbandâs younger sister to the arcade and she and my husband won a mini bogg bag from one of the machinesâŚ.and it got stuck. Okay no big deal - we went to the counter and asked for help. A guy, (who I assume was the manager as he was the oldest person working and the other employee we spoke with deferred to him) came out and unlocked the machine which we thought would result in him giving the bag to my sister in lawâŚâŚBut he then informed us that picking up the bag is not how youâre âsupposedâ to win the game and that she would not be getting the bag because it wasnât supposed to be in the bottom to be picked up (there were stuffed animals in the bottom that were what was intended to be used to win the game) We were upset but went ahead and finished using our credits. Husbandâs brother who was also with us continued to try to win the game in order to get the bag for their sister. My husband and I took her to play a few more games trying to distract her and use up our credits.
SIL disabled and really only understands things in black and white. She doesnât understand the rules this guy came up with or the condescending excuses he gave us for why she could t have the bag that sheâd helped win. All she knows is that she won the game and her prize got stuck, and now she wants her prize. So she kept going back to the machine and saying âwant itâ
When weâd used the last of our credits we went to the counter to redeem the 10,000+ tickets weâd won. We had seen that the large bogg bags were available as a prize for 20,000 tickets so we asked if it was possible to redeem our tickets for the mini bag, ended up speaking to the same guy who told us no and was EXTREMELY rude and condescending when he told us that WE should have seen that there was a problem with the machine, wWE should have known that the bag didnât belong in the bottom and that WE should have told them that there was a problem before we played. *I would like to point out that you can see the machine from the counter, but even if they couldnât they should be checking on things like this to make sure that their games are running correctly. Iâd also like to point out that there are no directions that we could see that said to pick up the stuffed animal to win the game, but there is a sign in the bottom of the game that says that the bag you win can be swapped for another color - which leads me to believe that youâre supposed to pick up the bag and then can swap it out for the color of your choice.
The issue isnât even the bag, we can go buy her oneâŚitâs the fact that she was SO excited to have won it, and doesnât understand why she canât have the prize that she won AND on top of ruining what should have been a great moment for her the employee we spoke to was rude, condescending and blamed us for the fact that they arenât paying attention and making sure their games are operating correctly.
We come to Orange Beach every summer and have previously loved Fat Daddyâs Arcade but after this, we will not be back. You would think that making customers who have spent hundreds of dollars there happy would have been more important to them than a $55 bag.
I uploaded a picture of my SIL (with her motherâs permission) with the bag showing that it had been picked up and was stuck in the machine. I canât upload the video but I do also have a video of the employee opening the game and telling us that she couldnât...

I really wish I had taken more pictures in this place, but I was too busy soaking up time with my sweet boy. I was honestly very pleasantly surprised & impressed with this arcade.
⢠GAMES đš We travel a lot & we go to arcades in just about every city we travel to. This arcade had some games that we had never seen before. We were all really impressed with that. They have an awesome selection of games for all ages.
⢠PRICINGđ° It is NOT OVERPRICED like I expected it to be. We played on 50 dollars for a little over an hour. It was 55 "points" for $50. Each game is half a point, one point, or two points. I don't believe any game costs more than two points a play, but I'm not 100% sure. But, about 90% of the games are one & two points.
⢠CUSTOMER SERVICE 𫶠The customer service was also surprisingly really good! The employees working here seem to really like their job, they have great attitudes & they are really patient. Five stars on the customer service!!! đđđ
⢠COMPLAINT đł My biggest complaint (& really only complaint) is the number of CLAW MACHINES in this arcade. There are just as many claw machines (if not MORE) as there are arcade games. So be ready to fight that battle with your kids đ I will say there are four "mini" claw machines for younger kids that are fairly easy for younger kids to win on. My son was able to win a prize out of each machine (two animals on one machine!), and that was only at two tries per machine.
⢠PRIZE SELECTION đ I was also impressed with their prize selection. We won 1800 tickets total & my son was able to get the toy that you see in the first picture along with five or six small toys!
⢠CLEANLINESS 𧚠It is worth noting that this arcade was...

If you're anywhere near Orange Beach and looking for nonstop fun for all ages, Fat Daddyâs Arcade is the place to be! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric â flashing lights, upbeat music, and the sound of pure excitement. This place is CLEAN, well-kept, and filled with state-of-the-art games, nostalgic classics, and even some wild rides I didnât expect to find in an arcade!
Whether you're into racing simulators, shooting games, claw machines, or ticket jackpots, thereâs something for everyone. The best part? The card system is super convenient â no coins or tickets flying everywhere â and you can track your credits and prizes easily.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to fix a game when it glitched. My kids had a blast, but honestly, so did the adults! We racked up a ton of tickets and were able to trade them in for some really cool prizes â not just the typical plastic junk.
Pro tip: Go early or late to avoid crowds during peak season, and load up your game card with one of their bonus deals to get extra value.
Whether you're escaping the heat, killing time before dinner, or just want to act like a kid again â Fat Daddyâs delivers BIG time. Weâll...
