The Beach Moms — Local services in Orange Beach

Beach Moms was the worse decision I ever made for our family vacation. Do NOT book them! I have never left a review for a company before but I feel like this is necessary. I called prior to booking to ask some questions regarding packages due to having small children and the location we were staying. I was told not to worry, they could handle everything. Once I booked, that is when everything went south. Everything I asked for in the package I picked wasn’t available. We tried to book a private chef but the minimum spend didn’t work with our guest count, tried to book massages and was told we didn’t have enough people. Asked them to book our beach chairs and that too they said they couldn’t due to where we were staying. The frustrating thing about all of this was I called prior to talk through details and I was told, yes, they could do everything and our numbers were fine. I also want to mention I started with one women and got passed to another with no explanation. The second women I worked with was lovely (Maureen) and listened to me when I shared my concerns and then everything came to a screeching halt 3 days prior to us leaving. I received a call from, Angel, one of the owners. She screamed, yelled and was beyond rude. I tried to explain my concerns and she spoke over me, not allowing me to talk. Once she finally calmed down she agreed to let me change my package and refund me the difference. To this day I have not received my refund. I reached out in my client portal, I have called and I have sent text (as they communicate through texts) and have received zero response regarding my refund. We used The Beach Moms for grocery shopping & delivery, chair reservations & parasailing recommendation. Very happy with their service. I would 100% use them again. They were very responsive but I just can’t give 5 stars as I felt whoever did my shopping wasn’t very detailed oriented. There were several items that were not what I asked for. I know that happens everywhere and why I don’t use curbside shopping in my home town. I wish I would have found them sooner in my planning and would have used them for dinner reservations and a boat charter as well but I had already booked those services prior to the property manager sharing their website link....

There are not enough superlatives to describe how amazing Lainne with Beachmoms was during our stay in Orange Beach. She accommodated all the special requests for family of eight with ease. She bought and delivered our groceries and supplies, arranged for a photographer for beach photos, made reservations for parasailing and a zoo trip and planned and setup a surprise birthday party at our condo it was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the trip rather than have to do all that work myself. I highly recommend using the Beachmoms service anytime you travel to the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. Ask for Lainne and relax...
