Blooming Nails Spa — Attraction in Orange Township

I was a first time customer and had a dip powder manicure and a regular pedicure. The manicure did not go well but the pedicure was great. The customer service was disappointing and the safety of the salon for customers is questionable.

It was my first time getting dip polish and the color turned out much more pink than the sample and was translucent so that the whites of my nails could all be seen. The most concerning thing was that 9/10 of my nails were bleeding after the manicure was complete.

The receptionist came to finish my manicure with a hand massage. I did not see her wash her hands and she did not wear gloves before doing it. She then returned to the desk without washing her hands. I was concerned that she hadn't washed her hands after getting my blood on her but thought maybe she didn't realize I was bleeding and I went to ask for bandaids. A few technicians came to check my nails. They didn't have any bandaids but put some kind of solution on to stop the bleeding. They kept telling me I was bleeding because I had sensitive skin but I told them that this had never happened before during a manicure and the concern was not addressed.

They took me to the pedicure bowl and I had a different technician. The pedicure went smoothly and the technician and receptionist both came to check to make sure that I wasn't bleeding anymore. I expressed that I was concerned that all of my nails had been cut and that that had really never happened before. The concern was still not addressed.

I went to checkout and was asked if I was satisfied. I said that the pedicure was great but that I still thought it was very concerning that I had so many cuts. They smiled and then told me my total. I paid and filled out the text survey that they sent me and expressed my concerns again regarding the safety of the service and sanitation and never heard anything from management.

I went to this salon for a dip replacement, nail trim, tip extension on 1 broken nail, and opted for a square shape (no rounded corners). I picked my color and was seated quickly. I did make an appointment in advance.

This was my first time using this nail spa. They were very careful not to use high speeds on the drimmel (which a lot of nail spas tend to do in an effort to get through the nail removal and application process faster) which made my experience very comfortable and relaxing. This is usually my biggest issue with nail salons as it REALLY hurts and burns my nails during removal and sometimes even during smoothing in a new application. I have very sensitive nail beds as I’ve had my nails done consistently without a break for the last 14 years.

I had a male nail tech, who did a great job, and was very attentive to my requests to make sure he was getting my preferences just right. At the end I had a smooth check-out process and GORGEOUS nails. I always make sure to note if the technician gives me the shape I want, as requested, the length I request, and during application, if the edges are smooth and rounded at the top border. I also take note of if my nails are “stuck” to my actual skin on the edges at the end, and if there is excess dip material stuck in the underneath portion of my nail. I can confirm that the edges are pristine, my nails are not “stuck” to my skin on the edges, and there was no excess polish/dip/misc materials underneath my nails at the end.

Terrible just the worst of the worst staff was very disrespectful they kept adding to our price I asked for a simple gel with gold lines and they were putting on bronze when we asked them they proceeded to lie to us saying that they have to charge $35 extra dollars for a chrome and then Nick came and said $15 they never told us they continued my nails and my sisters nails they added gold chrome for extra $10 without asking. Later when we were paying the total was $190 then the lady made it $203.30 telling us that it was tax. When nick came he took a picture of my mom without her consent and then acted like he did not my mom kept asking and then he finally deleted it but we kept insisting that it was in his recently deleted section and he kept changing the topic I asked for his phone and he finally gave it and there were 2 of the pics in there we made him delete it my mom asked for the before customers picture but there was no picture. We said we would pay cash and the total went down to $190. This was a terrible experience and be careful with these scams at this place.
