When I first began going to Nail Quest, I was very satisfied with the services I received. But, the past few times I have gone, I have been very displeased with the way my nails looked. When I went 2 nail appointments ago, I requested gel and specifically stated no manicure. When the only male employee who works there took my nail polish off he proceeded to attempt to do a manicure and I once again told him, I do not want a manicure and he acted like he didn't understand me for the second time. Today when I went, the older woman did my nails (not the manger Hannah - Hannah is the only good staff member who works there). I picked out a blush color and when she put the first layer on my nails I asked "oh is that NUDE color going to darken up?" She says "yes look at the box, it's blush". Well she proceeds to paint my nails nude and at the end she ask "do you like it? It looks pretty" and I told her "it's not the color that I wanted and I told you that". So she proceeds to say "I don't know what you want me to do" she walks away and grabs the color that she thinks I might like. Paints one layer over the nude color and then says "next time you need to tell me sooner if you if don't like it". Well I did and like the male staff member, failed to listen to what the costumer wanted. On top of that, I like to get a sparkly color painted over one nail as an accent color and I told her I didn't want the main color painted with the sparkly, I just wanted the sparkly overload on one nail. What does she do? Proceed to paint my nail the same color as the rest and slap one layer of sparkly gold on my accent nails. With that being said, the nail polish is thick, clunky, and I have polish and clear coat all over my cuticles and fingers, so I don't intend on this color lasting for very long with the way the end product looks. My complaints go much further than the past 2 services but these last 2 issues are what set me off. I think the staff here often forgets I am paying for the service not them. Unfortunately after too many visits of not being satisfied with my service, Nail Quest has lost a costumer for I will NOT...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I got a gel manicure. It started lifting the next day as I was headed to the airport to be out of town for a few days. While on my trip, several nails had the gel to start lifting and peeling off. When I got back and they had closed for 2 days over the 4th of July holiday. I went in on Monday, told them my problem but they were too busy to take me. On Tuesday, I called ahead to see if they could take me at 7pm which they said they could. When I got there, they said they were closed. I told them that I had called ahead, was told to come at 7pm and that I had the issue with the poor manicure. They still said they could not take me. Two women were so disappointed in how they were treating me that they left so that they could right their wrong. Once they FINALLY decided to take me, the had the audacity to ask to charge me the full price to correct the bad job that they had done! Needless to say, I left. And I will...
Read moreI came here with my daughter and her friend (we are all biracial). They both had appointments and I did not. I asked the nail tech (older lady with glasses) if they could get me in for a pedicure and full set. She said no because I didnât have an appointment. Which ok thatâs perfectly fine. Whatâs not fine is that while I was waiting a male customer (white) comes in and gets right in for a pedicure. Then an older (white) woman comes in for an acrylic removal. They start on her right away as well as Iâm still sitting. Then in walks another woman also white and says she needs 3 pedicures. The nail tech says to her âwe are busy right now but could you come back in an hourâ. Customer says âoh yes thatâs fineâ. Immediately I was livid and Iâm sitting here right now waiting for my daughter and her friend to finish trying not to make a scene. Iâm just going to go somewhere else. Just wanted...
