Batteries Plus — Attraction in Orange

I like the store, Good service, good help, fair price. I've spoken with the owner a few times, great guy. I had an emergency about a wk ago. I went to the store, which opens at 8am. Employees were there, yet couldn't open the store. I waited for an hr, spoke with another gentleman waiting, who eventually went to go ask the Employees what's going on.? They said the boss was called, he'll be there in 30 min. I personally waited another hr after hearing that. Then I left, upset, rightfully so. In MY opinion.. if you can't trust your Employees who are there on time to open the store, then maybe we need to change the opening hrs to better suit whoever can open up the store. I understand life gets in the way on occasion, I run a business too. Again (just my opinion). I will continue to recommend this store however, I do not recommend going when They're Supposed To Open. Try mid day. This was my only bad experience at the store. God willing it will be fixed soon, I watched 8 people come, wait, and leave due to this prior to me...

On 3/3 I brought a tablet in for a battery replacement. Told it will take about a week. Called 3/20. Told battery came in 3/19. Told tech was out sick will be back next week. They had it for 3 weeks. I picked it up. The tablet was running as slow as when I brought it in. I can not even reify if the battery was even replaced. I was told the old battery was discarded. This place is amazing. I went last night to purchase a battery for my car. My car literally sputtered and completely shut off right in front of the store. Once inside, I was attended to by Joe. He is awesome! The transaction went smoothly and he was quick and proficient. He told me about the 5 year warranty, handed me information for a rebate for the particular battery that I'd purchased and smoothly completed the purchase. He then grabbed the mechanic cart, and we headed outside. He proceeded to explain every step as he changed the battery. He was even kind enough to replace the bolts (which were worn down) with a brand new set. They are knowledgeable, professional and thorough. From now on I will ONLY be using this company for my battery needs. Easy to find too, right across the street from IHOPS. So happy...
