11/24/2024 UPDATE New slide covers and what seems to be a few new claw machines have made a huge improvement. The claw machine with the little trucks in it was VERY EASY for a 4 year old, which is all we ask for. He took 4 turns and grabben 3 little toys, so he was super excited about that. Thanks for the improvement!
Bounce Xtreme, the new improved Bounce town, has been excellent. The brand new inflatables are great for kids of any age, I take my 3 and 1 year old on everything and they have a blast. Prices are totally fair, and birthday parties (been to two so far) and a hit. Crowds don't seem to be an issue which is nice.
A few points of feedback that make my review 4 and not 5 stars.
The cubby area by the inflatables entrance is a bit cramped and makes getting kids settled difficult when there's a lot of people. This area could be a bit bigger, or somewhere else as an improvement The bottom of the biggest slide has like black streaks of sticky substance which slows the kids down so abruptly it's a bit violent. This should be fixed somehow. My son LOVES the claw machines, but the machines here are virtually impossible, and not really inexpensive to play. I fully understand there has to be profit made here, but I feel like they could turn up the claw strength/ win % a bit and we'd be far more likely to play more. The "rock wall" in the back left is a bit confusing to me. It is so difficult to climb, and the ground isn't really a soft fall. I haven't really seen anyone use this feature yet and as an avid rock climber, I wouldn't really expect anyone to. A fall from the top would be dangerous. I feel like this space could be far better utilized.
Overall, I highly recommend...
Read moreWe are kind of bouncy place connoisseurs by this point since on road trips one needs to stop and let toddlers run off some steam and we actively seek out bouncy house places, but this one is our least favorite. Most places have a designated space for younger children, but brave tots like mine could also go into the middle size ones because there are gradual increases in size and required physical ability. Here this was not really possible because everything beyond the tot section was huge, meaning we paid for her to use basically 2 bounce structures on her own. There is also a crazy overabundance of staff, constantly surveilling you, which we've never seen, even in much larger spaces. Leaving my husband and daughter when we first arrived to check and see where else she might go, i passed no less than four employees in a tight, short pathway, all of whom stared like I was a minotaur, and two of whom were like, "Where are you going?" Um, i'm going to check out the space for my 2year old since we've already given you our $10! I respect that adults are not allowed to jump, but in all other places we've been, a parent can accompany a small child, like our 2year old, not to jump but to help them. It was only after asking twice, in a near empty place, that they begrudgingly said we could help her through two of the harder bounce structures. But we'd 'have to leave if more people came!' Sigh. If you have much older children who can roam alone and/or more than one child, then this place may be worth the cost. But considering the others we've been to, with amazingly nice employees and a less stressful vibe, we won't be back again until she's at least 4 and perhaps has a sibling...
Read moreDeath trap. Surprised nobody has been killed yet. My 10yr old and I were the only ones there. It's so loud and so far from the cashier, I don't think anyone would have even heard cries for help if we had needed it. The slides are so incredibly tall and steep that he fell forward off of one and hit his head on the harder section of bouncy flooring... bruised, hopefully not a concussion. On the run-up ramps he was climbing from one step to the next and fell off landing on his arm.... so lucky it didn't break. I said let's just play it safe and do the obstacle course.... thank goodness I was there... he was going over a spoked half circle, it gave way under his weight and he fell in between it and the inflated wall... he was completely stuck and panicking. Once I got him out I climbed over the same obstacle to leave and it almost happened to me too... I fell off with my body going ways it shouldn't have... lucky I didn't break my neck. We will never go back here, pretty sure we're both...
