East Zion Adventures — Attraction in Orderville

Did the White Mountain Horse Trail the other week and the location was amazing, the horses were great... But unfortunately the guides were less than enthusiastic.

When the guides arrived at the Coffee Shop meeting point, they made no effort to introduce themselves and instead sat on their phones looking miserable.

We were then kept waiting because some other guests were running late and ultimately didn't show up, so we were over 20 mins into our hour session before getting to the activity location and even seeing a horse. That's without any type of briefing or introduction from the guides.

Next was a safety brief audio recording lazily played from the guide's phone, which could have easily been recited by one of the guides who still hadn't introduced themselves yet.

From here we finally got onto our horses and the rest of the experience was good despite losing almost half of our session time. The guide that took us on the trail also finally started acknowledging the guests but maybe that's because his partner had returned to the coffee shop and he needed someone...

We did the morning session of East Zion: Coral Sands Half-Day Canyoneering Tour. Small group and awesome guide. Nice hike into the canyon. Then the fun began! • Stemming among rocks. • Walking on the side of the rock canyon down to the first rappel. • Rappelling down a 50’-foot wall. We did a total of 4 rappels. • Scrambling, sliding, squeezing through the slot canyon. • Walk out of canyon via old riverbed and up the side of mountain via sandy bottom. This was so out of my comfort zone!! I was nervous and scared but felt safe the whole time. Eric, our guide, was so understanding, knowledgeable, and fun! Safety was a priority for him. We had the most incredible experience with Hanna from East Zion Adventures on the Elkheart Canyon Canyoneering & UTV tour! We were a group of four—two adults and two kids (ages 16 and 12)—and Hanna made it an unforgettable day for all of us.
