Red Hollow — Local services in Orderville

I knew at the before starting that if I couldn't make it past the rope climbing area in the slot this would be a short hike. Knowing that, I still loved it. I thought the area around the slot canyon was super interesting. Beautiful unique cliff walls, caves, white sand area with cool formations west, just cool. The slot canyon was beautiful, but what I liked the most is it was not hard, but it had areas perfect for practicing if you want to do harder slots in the future. There was an area perfect.to stemming and chimneying to practice. There was a few Boulders that were good easy practice that going a different path around the boulder could be a harder bouldering skull building. Then it has a cool rope to climb if you can conquer it. It is easy, but with potential to learn some cool skills in there. I thought it a cool hike, and glad I found this treasure. It is such a pretty area around Orderville. I am eager to find more cool hikes like this...

Great hike, only about a half mile to the slot through a sandy wash; takes about 20 minutes to get to. Not a big or long slot but still very nice and only two other hikers...

Beautiful slot canyon with a easy trail for kids. Great family hike with opportunity to see wildlife. At night it’s a great place...
