It’s absolutely not a coincidence that many of our Orderville, UT based adventure tours leave from @theshopcoffeeco- we want our guests to be aligned, caffeinated, & happy! 🧘☕️🥐 If you book an Orderville tour like the White Mountain Horseback or Elkheart Canyon etc, you’ll meet us at Zion Fuel-Up/The Shop Coffee Co- the perfect excuse to arrive a bit early and enjoy some coffee & brunch! ☕️ They have a full coffee, breakfast, and lunch menu you WON’T want to miss before/after your tour with us. ⏱️ Hours: Tues-Sun from 7 am to 5 pm 📌 Have you been to The Shop Coffee Co yet? Well. It was packed on a Sunday morning which would make me think this place is good. It’s very small, but extremely unorganized and cluttered, hard to walk through, and things like the “free water” needed some serious attention. Merch wise they could us a serious update, some organization and flow. Things are just thrown here and there. We walked in and looked at the menu and the girl behind the counter asked if we were ready. I asked for a sec to look and she rolled her eyes and turned away. No one greeted or even said “good morning” as you walk in. When we were ready we stood at the register, unnoticed for a decent amount of time. Finally placed our order to the same, very unfriendly and unwelcoming girl. Asked for water and was waved to the “free water” which was an almost empty small picture. I pushed my way thought the crowd to get a seat outside while my husband remained inside for well over 30 min. I ordered their version of avocado toast. 11.00 for a piece of bread with a tomato, avocado thinly spread, thuan slices of egg and two pieces of greens. My husband got the burrito with cold eggs. We ate and left. No coffee. Can’t comment on that. I feel like this place has HUGE potential with some organization and customer service and maybe add a second piece of toast for the 11.00 price.

Very rude service, took a very long time just to order, and food was not great. Summary: Sweet things Acie bowl (arround $13) was not as expected. The acie was very watery and frozen into cristals when served. Melted into a water consistency withing 10 minuites in 40 degree, cloudy weather. Still tasted fine but difficult to eat and ruined the granola. It was arround 9:30 when i arrived and was 10:15 ish when my order was taken, i was the fisrt person in line but had to wait as they had backup orders, understandable to me. Service was admittedly not awesome as the older server who took my order was in a bad mood, very blunt, and mumbled quite a bit. (After reading some other reviews it seems this is her normal attitude and even on the good side, I also did not mention, in an attempt to be kind, that after taking my order the person behind me ordered the exact drink she said they were out of and got it, so she apparently lied to me but whatever). The atmosphere was great and very lively, I only interacted with the younger blond worker and she was kind but I do not know about the other lady.

Full story if you want it ⬇️

I would like to preface this with saying I do not believe that all the food on the menu is bad or that all the servers were rude. Unfortunately I believe I've stumbled on a bad day for the worker that took my order as she did not exactly show much kindness or even simple service attitude. But I don't want to be bias so I'll just say what happened. Right when I entered it was beautiful, love the vibes and the look. As I got to the counter a Younger worker kindly said it would be a minuite as I could see thay had orders backed up a bit, morning rush, I understand. The problem started when it had been nearly 20 minuites and nothing. It took about 45 minuites for them to take my order. The older lady that took the order seemed to be in a bad mood by the tone of her voice, it's rush time, I understand. Unfortunately they were out of the drink I wanted along with the fact that I mistook the start time of lunch and so they weren't making the samwich I wanted yet. That's fine, I understand, but both these mistakes seemed to make the worker visually irritated. I ended up ordering the acia sweet things bowl in a little rush cause at that point the line was out the door. It took about 10 to 15 minuites to get my order and the younger worker handed it to me and was very kind. I did take it to go as I had a conference to be in in my car. When I opened the bowl I noticed that the acia was frozen, and not like cold, but litteral ice crustals of acia. I've had acie in many states at many different places and never been greeted with that. Over about 10 minuites while eating the bowl the acie completely melted and was essentially a water consistency. It made the granola soggy and was just difficult to eat. It still tasted fine, not as strong as most others but that's okay. I am writing this review just as a warning to anyone getting the acie bowl as it may not be what you were expecting, curently it is around 13 dollars for refrence. As this might be a one time thing i encuredge you to try if you with and know that one menu item not being great does not mean they all are, many food items looked very good....

We visited on 11/27 and were super excited to check this coffee shop out, all the way from Kanab, because as content creators & video editors, we LOVE to find & highlight on social media, coffee GEMS we come across all over the country. We have done several of these coffee highlights before and have seen and met a lot of small coffee shop businesses and owners.

Unfortunately our experience was lackluster & did not encourage us to return for a possible highlight.

PROS: Plenty of parking, cute Zion/Adventure vibes, cute gift shop options, & PASTRIES are AMAZING - specifically Almond Croissant (not the prepared onsite food)

CONS: Terrible customer service, which really makes or breaks an experience for us. The woman taking our order seemed "put off" by us in general - of our questions, our enthusiasm for finding the shop, just felt like our presence was super annoying to her. Even when no one was in line behind us or when we inquired about a drink carrier, we were "in the way". We ordered the Elvis Waffle & waited 25 minutes to receive a burnt product. When we asked for refund for Waffle instead of remake (we were already running behind after waiting), the women who took our order glared at us, looked away, and never said a word. The other woman employee was a lot kinder for the burnt product & apologized/refunded. I appreciate that younger gal attitude and approach.

Disappointing experience, especially for a $45...
