Soup Town Café — Restaurant in Orderville

Wonderful lunch on Highway 89, middle of town, across from the grocery store in Orderville. It reminds me of a quaint tea house with sandwiches, soup, salads, drinks and ice cream. A great lunch, but with the small town America feel (that does not seem to exist anymore) I realized how special this place was when the owner, Brad, came out to assist me in getting my 92 year old father out of the car. Brad helped him sit and then get him back in the car when we finished. The food was great, personalized sandwiches with various cheese (we had grilled cheese) and sides. This is not a fancy meal, but a tasty lunch. It was exactly what we wanted on a hot day and a long drive. My dad had the soup of the day as well and loved it as well as his ice cream for dessert. My dad and I often make this drive to get him out of the house. We will plan to stop again whenever we are on highway 89. What a fun, enjoyable place to stop. We left...

My husband and I stopped by on our way home from Lake Powell. I had the Grilled Tuna with potato wedges and fry sauce and he had a Pastrami Sandwich with pickle and chips. They were super fresh and delicious. And we couldn’t leave without a scoop of cookie dough ice cream and a slice of Berry pie with a lemon infused crust. My husband thought he had died and gone to heaven. He words were “The best Berry pie I’ve ever had.” We would stop just for that...

Great family-run place for a quick bite for those on the roads or locals. You place your order at the counter and then wait at a table. We had a ham and cheese sandwich and a soup which were fresh and satisfying. The place is decorated with some vintage local objects, and a small gift shop area provides few locally crafted items.
