By far our favourite stop on our tour of the Willamette Valleyâwe went on a rainy Thursday so it was just two of us and the owner. He was a real delight to talk to and answered our (somewhat) basic queries about his wine and the valley while explaining what the weather was like each year and what to look for in the different vintages according. Totally unpretentious but clearly a very serious winemaker. His stuff was also the very best we tasted: many of my memories the other wines have since blended together but I can recall how delightful each of the utopia ones we tried were. Could not recommend a visit highly enough.

I just read the review before me about the owner forgetting the group. He owned up to it. I love that! I have worked in wineries and it is hard to keep up sometimes. It might have helped if someone from the group just went up to the counter and mentioned that they think he forgot about them.
