First time going to Tinley water park and it was a great experience. My son's classmate had her birthday party there on a perfect 96° Sunday afternoon. We had the "birthday" pavilion reserved for us. We were able to cut the line since we were there for the birthday party and it helped a lot because there was a HUGE line. The pavillion was nice and clean with plenty of seats/benches and private bathrooms. The water park itself is nice and really clean. Staff is really on it with maintaining the place clean and organized. They did drills evry hour where kids had to get out of the water for safety check. They have a lazy river with 2 huge slides.

This a very nice waterpark for everyone! Went here on a weekend and the crowd isn't bad. Non Tinley park residents pay $20/person as compared to residents, $5-10/person. They have a lot of life guards and life jackets . Lockers are available. There are alot of areas to enjoy to, a lazy river, place for diving, sand play area. Food bought outside are not allowed inside the park. They have a Cafe with reasonable prices. There was a time where there was a lightning/thunder, we were asked to go to a safe area for 30 mins. It was good that they practice safety.

Great water park, only suggestion is that they have signs clearly posted for season pass holders and non season pass holders for entry.

I used to love this waterpark and recommended it to everyone in the area. I will no longer be doing that and will also be utilizing my large social media platform to warn of this place. We visited today and a young mentally challenged girl was not following the rules of the slide and ended up cutting herself. For a while before the lifeguard even acknowledged this girl she was sitting in the pool bleeding. My husband attempted to help the girl and get her out of the pool at which time the extremely un-observant lifeguard finally took notice of what was going on. However, she still left this girl in the pool while my husband continued to try and offer help. My sister and I watched all this unfold while on the lazy river while trying to make our way over there. We witnessed the whole situation and the complete negligence and inaction of the lifeguard. My husband was trying to offer assistance as both him and I are certified and trained disaster relief/First aid/SAR volunteers. We travel with First aid kits and tornoquets in our vehicles for god sake in case we ever need to help people until emergency services arrive. This extremely ignorant lifeguard then went on to say my husband had been making inappropriate comments to this girl and that he needed to be "handled" by the other lifeguards. Mind you I and numerous others witnessed EXACTLY what occurred and how this lifeguard left this girl in the pool for a good 5 minutes bleeding. I did demand a refund and spoke to the supervisor on duty but know that being a decent person will have you labeled by the lifeguard staff as a bad person and them try to shame you in front of all the other patrons. ...

I attended the pool with my grandchildren and I was appalled how dirty the restrooms were filthy poop on the floors dirty pads and debris. No staff ever cleaning or checking restrooms. The cafe is even worse they have high school twits working there like airheads clueless and slow. They were out of lemonade on a 95 degree day makes no sense why wouldn’t they be prepared. The chairs are old and filthy need to be replaced they had these since my kids were little. We’ve been coming here for decades they need remodeling or a refresh of the place. The lifeguards are rude too they wouldn’t let my teenage granddaughter 13 swim alone without an adult when many other kids were alone. I guess they don’t want another drowning death like last year or lawsuits im sure. But I saw other kids swimming without parents many. This place has gone downhill we probably won’t be returning anymore due to these issues. The pools dirty too there’s kids just wearing diapers and not bathing suits either. The diving board and slides were closed too so we paid money for that and it’s not open. To top it off they should resident priority over no. Resident we almost didn’t get in the non residents are taking over and no senior lines for handicap or elderly to go in with residents. It was a terrible day I...

The waterpark is a great little waterpark if you live close by. The non resident pricing though is pretty high. There are some cons to the waterpark, such as you are unable to bring food that you order to your lounge chairs, you must sit at a wooden table right by where you order the food. Which is pretty difficult to do when there are dozens of bees, wasps, etc flying around landing on you and your food. It’s ridiculous you can’t just take the food with you to your chairs when they have plenty of trash cans throughout the park. Also, their “splash pad” area has concrete instead of a nice artificial turf or some sort of rubber ground. So that seems a bit dangerous in my opinion. The last thing is you have to have a tube to enter the lazy river, so there ends up being a long line of people just waiting for tubes. I believe they should have separate tubes for the water slide and separate tubes for the lazy river. Overall, it’s a decent...
