This guy always tries to push food on me that I don't want. Whenever I ask for 2 loaves of bread he'll bring out like 4 or 5 and act like he misheard me then gets kind of upset and has an attitude when I tell him no I just want the 2 like I'm supposed to feel bad that I don't wanna buy food I never asked for and that is most likely old stock that he's just trying to get rid of. Then, instead of just ringing me out on the 2 loaves he'll purposely take his time to go to the back to put back the bread I didn't ask for. If it had only happened once or twice I would think honest mistake, no problem but he does it all the time and even then, really not a big deal, but I don't like how he acts rude because I said no. Even worse the other day I went to pick up breakfast from here got some bread that is topped with eggs and cheese after eating it I became very ill and was vomiting all day because of it. I know for sure it was that egg-bread because it was the only thing I had eaten that day and started feeling nauseous 20 minutes after eating it and had a nasty lingering taste of it before vomiting. I've eaten thier breakfast many times before with no issues so I won't hold it against them but feel like it was worth mentioning and hope they are preparing thier foods appropriately with at least somewhat fresh ingredients. I feel as if the service and food quality has declined...

I went to this grocery store and I am very disappointed. I am not from the states and I was looking for a place to buy halal meat. I asked for chicken breast, chicken legs, ground beef. I also asked for lambs chops and this woman sold me 5 times more meat that I asked, with parts I didn’t ask for. I told her that it was too much and she said that even if I take less, she will charge me for the whole quantity (that I would not take). I never had this kind of explanation from a butcher anywhere in the world. I fell like when she knew that I was not from here, she decided to take advantage of this to sell me as much as she can. I couldnt go to another place so I took the meat. When I came home, the quality of the meat shocked me. The chicken breast was full of fat, the legs had so much useless part that we cannot eat, like for make it heavier in the scale. When I cooked the beef, it had a weird taste so I called them and they told me that they could do nothing for this and I surely seasonned it wrong. But believe me, no seasonning can give this taste to meat. I will never set foot again in this place and find it dishonest to have this kind of practices...

The man at the register has horrible customer service-no greeting, no smile, no help, cold attitude. He touched the atayef with no gloves, just bare hands. I don’t know if it’s my age, my gender, or the fact that I don’t look Arabian, but I was not treated with respect and was ignored. Had a worse experience a few years ago regarding him yelling at my 70 year old grandma at the time because he did not like that we are Christian. A lady saw the whole thing and walked out with us. I thought I would give them a try again because of their close proximity. Definitely the same owner. Safe to say it is officially my last time shopping at this market. Advice to anyone reading this, there are a bunch of Arabic markets around here so don’t waste your time or money when you can have a better experience somewhere else. Advice to the owner, learn how to run your business. Good customer service is everything so put some effort into...
