This place is terrible. I was excited to see a Papa Johns open in Tinley Park and it looked like the reviews weren't bad from Google. I had a gift card and called to make sure they would take split payment when I got to the store and they said yes. When I arrived it was a total **show. There were multiple people waiting for their pizzas. Everyone in the back were running around and paying no attention to the pizzas coming out or the people waiting to be helped at the counter. Finally after about 15 minutes another customer called the guy stacking boxes and asked him to check the pizzas that were up. First he ignored her and when she called him again he asked for what name to which she replied "All of us. Why don't you start calling out names?" And who would have thought once he started calling out names customers started getting their orders and clearing out. When I went to pay I gave the guy the gift card (which was the only reason I went here) and he looked totally puzzled and said they won't take it- only cash or card. So I said fine I had $10 on another type of card and would pay the rest in cash and he proceeded to tell me they can't do that. I told him I called and the guy said they do split payment and he said yeah no. And I tried to overlook the fact that the same guy who was handling the pizzas was going back and forth between the register and handling food without gloves or washing his hands. Finally I watched the guy putting the pizzas out holding them sideways before tossing them on the rack. They are incredibly unprepared to handle the amount of orders they are receiving and while the pizza was edible, I would have had better luck at Pizza Hut. First and last time I will go here. I will be shocked if they remain open very long...
Read moreHonestly I'm kind-of a pizza snob (see my Domino's review). Key here is it's decent, open really late (3 AM) and damn- they're fast with the orders! Thing is if you grew up in the southwest side of Chicago, you had choices like Vito & Nick's on Pulaski, Palermo's on 95th, Nancy's on 103rd, Little Joe's on 63rd- or one my old favorites- Vince's also on 63rd. So the bar is high! ALL that being said, order it right and it's not bad. You can get some good deals, and, again it's OPEN 'TIL 3 AM (all week I think) for the night owls. The wings are pretty good too. The only little snag is there are THREE other reputable 'pie' places within a half-mile namely Little Joe's (from 63rd), Guardis (try Guardis too!) and there's a good Nancy's location practically across the street. I tend work late sometimes so I'll go back. Once more- these cats are FAST with the orders the couple times I've gone. I've waited much longer...
Read moreFirst, I tried ordering online using the app and the app said there was no delivery location near me. Note that I am less than 10 minutes from this location. So I called the store number. That goes to a central operator/order taker. They also said there is no delivery to my location. But they transferred me to the Tinley Park location. After waiting more than 5 minutes, the call is answered. I asked to order a pizza for delivery. Inn very broken English, I was rudely told âNo delivery, we too busy. You have to come herâ. I guess Jets will continue to get my business. Itâs a shame because I like Papa Johnâs pizza and I was hoping a location would come to the Tinley area. Hopefully, they will get their...
