I’m honestly upset to be leaving this review because we’ve been customers here for about 2 years now. Our dog had her first groom here and we were very pleased but recently the operation is going down hill. In the past we’ve never waited longer than 1.5-2 hours for her to get groomed (she’s a 65 pound labradoodle). But today for some reason we’ve been waiting for 3.5 hours at this point and still don’t have our dog in our possession. I don’t know if it’s the owner’s wife or sister or whoever working in the shop today but her communication is absolutely horrible. I had to call her after waiting for 3 hours to find out about the status of my dog and she told me I could come get her. When we arrived we were told that she wasn’t finished and we needed to keep waiting. I’m writing this review while I sit and wait because I’m so upset with the service that’s been delivered today. Every time we walked into the store today the woman was sitting on her cell phone chatting with someone and if she had gotten off the phone long enough to take a look in the back, she’d know the actual status of my dog’s groom. Aside from her, the man in the back is working on 3-4 dogs at once and switching back and forth between them randomly. If I had an appointment at 11 am, I expect my dog to be groomed all at once and not bathed, set aside, shaved, set aside, and then trimmed..... this is especially important for a dog who is TERRIFIED of loud noises and random people. Magic Pet has failed me today and I’m sorry to say I will not be returning in the future. I’d rather give my money to a big name brand like PetSmart because at least there’s some assurance of when my pet...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I just moved to the area and decided to try Magic Pet for our 1 and a half year old golden, since it was conveniently located. We were told the grooming was going to be 2 hours and my husband got a call 3 hours later that our dog was ready. When he picked her up they said she cut her paw by jumping off the table but they got it to stop bleeding. My husband took her home and she was crying and wouldn’t let him near her and she was still bleeding so he took her to the vet. The vet said it was clearly a scissor cut and they had completely cut through the webbing on her toe and she had to have surgery to try to suture back her skin or have her toe removed. It took a surgery and 6 weeks of bandage to get it properly healed and they did not need to remove her toe thank god. The worse part about this whole process was how the groomer handled it. When I called after my husband took her to the vet to try to find out what actually happened the owner yelled at me and told me the vet was lying and that my husband should have walked our dog home from the groomer that that was what caused the issues not her getting cut by them. She never apologized and never admitted to cutting our dog and still blamed our dog for “jumping off the table” which our vet confirmed was not possible for the cut she had. She also told me that we should have brought her back to the groomer so she could have taken her to the vet herself. She also never once asked about how our dog was doing or if she was okay. They are very unprofessional and should no longer be...
Read moreI recently visited magic pet, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed by the selection of high-quality pet food and the knowledgeable and friendly staff. As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted by a friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. When I told him that I was looking for some high-quality, all-natural dog food, he immediately directed me to a section of the store with a wide variety of options. I was impressed by the range of brands available, many of which I had never seen before. The staff member was extremely knowledgeable about the different brands and helped me find the perfect food for my dog's specific dietary needs. He also gave me some great advice on other pet products, like toys and supplements, which was really helpful. The store itself was clean and well-organized, with clear labeling and easy-to-read ingredient lists for each product. I also appreciated that many of the products were locally sourced or made with sustainable ingredients. Overall, I would highly recommend magic pet to any pet owner in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, the selection is great, and the store is clean and well-organized. It's clear that they truly care about the well-being of pets and are passionate about providing high-quality products. I'll definitely be...
