Sunglass Hut — Attraction in Orlando

Met Ricardo, the shopkeeper on the 15th of June 2023 at the Sunglass Hut at the Orlando Airport. He was an amazing, charismatic guy. He had an Italian designer vibe- words can’t express how good his service was. I am not from the USA and was looking to purchase sunglasses which I intended to alter to adjust for my far sightedness, and so I inquired about whether it would be possible to adjust for the eyesight in my home country. A regular, profit oriented shopkeeper would say that it would be possible without a second thought, but Ricardo was different. He made sure we understood which ones were able to be altered and which weren’t. For that act of honesty, I truly appreciate his service. Additionally, he showed us the stark difference between our sight with polarized sunglasses and our sight with regular, non-polarized glasses in a way that was almost magical! He made my mom wear the polarized glasses and myself simply wear regular glasses and the colors we saw on the exact same picture was different- whilst I saw only white light, my mom saw a spectrum of colors! This truly shocked us and made us aware of how the different types of harmful light we see today affect our unpolarized vision. Hats off to Ricardo for going the extra mile just to create that awareness; truly commendable stuff.
