Second Chance Thrift Store — Attraction in Oshkosh

This is the 2nd time I dealt with them. Both times they did not come for pickup of items on the time they were scheduled. I understand they have other pickups and they get behind. That isn't the problem! I appreciate a thrift store coming to the home to get the items for donation! The problem is they don't call you at all if they are going to be late! Both times they were an hour late and both times I had to call while I waited to find out if the were coming! When they did come out I shared my concern with the driver who failed to acknowledge it or apologize! As he loaded the boxes on the truck with the gentleman who assisted him he threw things out on the ground he didn't want while using the f word several times! I will use other thrift stores in the future in Oshkosh and not this one! There are better people and places to use for donations than Second Chance...

Hi, in a few words - excellent service from these folks from top to bottom ! They even worked out some very reasonable delivery fees for something I couldn't get home by hand. I've been in Oshkosh for three months now and they are the BEST thrift store I have dealt with so far. Give them a visit sometime. Update, late April: I'm sorry, I promised to put some pictures up here so - without further delay, here they are! Well, I'm still waiting for Google to approve my photos - so the one that does show is a humidifier/dehumidifier that is on sale for $15.00. Google photo review...

Arrived after driving down from Appleton. Entered, was not greeted. There was a gentleman who appeared to be behind the counter and a dark haired woman at the counter with a pile of clothes. They both just looked at me. I said hello and asked if I may use the restroom. The woman pointed to the bathroom. She then stated, with a contemptuous tone, “It’s only for paying customers.”

Then informed her I was planning to shop after I tended to my physics needs but due to her attitude, I realized this was not the store for me. And I left.
