This small park has a few sand volley ball courts, a playground with wood mulch as turf, restrooms, a parking lot and a sheltered picnic tables and grill. But, there is no walking trail and, therefore, it is not dog friendly. The sidewalks in photos are only short paths to each of the park attractions. With dogs on leash, we completed our walk in under 5 minutes. With all that is there, it seems the green space is wasted and could easily support a walking trail down by the hedge row of trees to complete this park; and a trail could meander around the park’s amenities as well as connect to the Johnson County trail which is very close by. The trail that is connected to Quivera Park is great, it's fairly shaded but not too closed off, and is fairly flat if you want to hit a pace.
