Drove two hours just to get to this beach because of how wonderful my first experience was when I stayed at the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort. We spent a whole day here lounging on the beautiful grass fields, eating lunch on the picnic tables, and even rented bikes nearby to bike the paths near the park and beach. We did have to pay for parking but it was extremely reasonable. We were happy to pay knowing the money was probably just going back into the beautiful park maintaining it...
