I could easily give this Goodwill 4 to 5 stars, I used to LOVE coming there. They are the best goodwill in the area (in my opinion) But now there is a worker that is back with the toy area specifically, and unfortunately she makes the experience very frustrating for me. My little one loves vehicles of any kind. I let him pick through and play and see which one he likes best to take home, most of the time I’m looking in the linen area, looking for fabrics and such, so I’m right there. This worker is so rude with my son, I can tell she doesn’t like him, I feel like if your in that department or in retail in general, you can’t be rude with peoples kids. I’ve worked in retail before, it’s not difficult to keep your comments to yourself, even when something frustrates you. I always pick up after him, make sure he keeps to a smaller space and he moves when someone wants to look at something. But she constantly picks up the toys he’s actively looking at, puts them higher up on the shelf so he can’t reach it (he’s 2) and she will mumble under her breathe and complain. I feel her energy the moment she sees us and it’s just uncomfortable and unfortunate. It makes me not want to go there, I was literally going to ask when she works so that I avoid those days. My mom even seen how she was and nearly said something to her about how she was acting. She has an awful attitude. Literally no other worker treats us this way and no one else has ever been upset with us like she is, most anyone else, smiles and chats with us (my son and I) I hate that this has been our experience on now 3 recent visits. I get so bumped when I see her, cause I already know. Also yes we bought this truck and hat, and other things, I don’t let him go wild with anything unless we are for...
Read moreMe, my father , and my sister came to this store today. As we were walking inside another customer was parked in the handicap parking spot at the front door as you enter into the store, her wheelchair ramp was left down outside her van unattended while she was inside shopping ( no cones or anything to warn people were set outside). My 77 year father trippedover the ramp and thank God I caught him or he would have been seriously hurt. I walked inside and let the manager and staff know what happened. They did absolutely nothing about it. Instead the lady said it's her van and mind our business that she wasn't doing anything about it because she was shopping. The staff laughed and still did nothing to prevent anyone else possibly getting injured. I work with the physically and mentally disabled and drive a van with a ramp to get them in and out of it . Never is it acceptable to put others in danger of falling because they are disabled. I will never shop here again and I will share this with everyone I know so they...
Read moreI used to love to shop at this place. I will not be returning after the experience I had last week. I was trying to exchange a halloween wig that had never been opened and that I had a receipt for. When the manager scanned the item the bar code did not match so she would not exchange the item. I was not even trying to get a refund but an exchange to use toward my $32 purchase. They would not refund or exchange it because my receipt did not match. So-fine- I spent $32 on my items on Thursday 11/3. I returned 3 of those items on Saturday, 11/5. However, instead of refunding my items of $20.62 JESSICA charged my card AGAIN. When I called to ask about it today on 11/8 JESSICA answered the phone and asked if I could call back tomorrow after noon because the other manager would be there. Goodwill's prices continue to go up and their employees continue to get less helpful. I WILL...
